My phone says time remaining until charge too on those places, but percentage is on status bar near battery icon, as well as lockscreen near bottom when charging, turned on option for battery percentage in settings, always shows in status bar.

As said, briefly says on the places where I said it was super fast charging or fast charging when just plugged in, but soon reverts to just charging.

I find Battery Guru charge estimate to be more accurate than Samsung's.

      But briefly on lockscreen, as well as when dropping down status bar, when charger just connected, it says that.

The only place where you can see this info is battery settings. For example if you connect your anker pd charger you will see "super fast charger 2.0 connected" in battery settings. Not in notification panel but in battery settings

                Maria, 02 May 2024I think there is no wording that says "super fast char... moreMy S21U briefly says Super Fast Charging, or Fast Charging, when connected either 25W, or 15W. In status bar or on lock screen. Also can find out in Settings -> Battery. It will say fast charger connected or super fast charger connected, depending on what it is using. 25 and 45W should be super fast charging, while 15 is just fast charging.

                Your charger has tiny words on its sides somewhere. Somewhere there is output. It says 65W, 15W and so on.

                I have tried my S21U with 120W Xiaomi charger, cable supports 120W, but only Fast Charging at 15W, no Super Fast Charging. Listed outputs are 15W (standard Fast Charging), 27W, 55W and 120W.

                  I mostly turn the phone off when charging. When using a 65W Anker charger with a 3A 60W Anker cable, I find that the phone is charged to a maximum of 80%.

                  When using the same charger with a 5A 100W Ugreen cable, the phone can reach a full 100% charge.

                  Yes, you may be right. Overheating can stop the charging.

The symbol is only two lightning bolts, one large and one small, along with the percentage inside the circle.

                      My charger is an Anker PowerPort III 65W Pod (with only one USB-C slot).

                          After reaching 38°C it slows charging on my phones I had. Saw with Battery Guru. Wattage drops a bit. And if over 38, either slows drastically or stops charging.

                              In Battery Guru you can see wattage when charging.

                              What are supported outputs on your charger? Should list ie. 65w then 30 then 15 and so on. Maybe there is no 45.

                              Also with modes and routines you can turn on battery protect for only specified time, it's 80 all night and 100 when you wake up. Good for battery longevity as SteveUK said.

I am the kind of person who still believes that charging from 0% to 100% with the phone off will make the battery last longer. Well, I know it's old-fashioned.
