Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy S24 series in mid-January, and the S24 Ultra is going to be the best cameraphone the company ever made.

According to the latest reports, the Night mode of the Ultra will be improved, while the new 200 MP mode will have AI optimization. The algorithm will recognize 12 kinds of objects and will optimize them for better image quality, said Ice Universe.

The Galaxy S24 Ultra will be the only smartphone in the lineup to exclusively use a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. Qualcomm launched the platform with big promises for AI operations, and it looks like the Ultra will take full advantage of the new features.

Previous reports revealed that Samsung will improve images during processing and allow users to edit them after that with a Photo Remaster feature. Another new improvement we expect to see is the Neutral Density filter, which is already part of the Expert RAW app but is still experimental and will likely go official with the S24 Ultra.
