Samsung Galaxy S25 family's announcement date leaks again and it's a different one
A couple of days ago a wild leak surfaced showing some evidence for Samsung starting pre-orders for the upcoming Galaxy S25 family on January 5. We assumed the launch event could thus be scheduled for the same day and it wouldn't be that out of the ordinary given Samsung's recent tendency to push unveilings forward compared to previous years.
Today two different sources on X are claiming something else, however. One says Korean media is reporting that the event will take place on January 23, and the other outright states it will happen on January 22.
Both of those things could actually be true, thanks to the magic of time zone differences. So, in Korea, it could very well be January 23 when, say, in the US, it's still January 22.
Of course we can only truly know for sure when the next Unpacked event is taking place once Samsung announces it, but in the meantime you can let us know in the comments whether you'd like it to occur in early January or late January. We can't say we have any specific preference ourselves, but you might, so do let us know what it is and why.
At the end let's note that one of the aforementioned sources says the Galaxy S25 Slim could actually be introduced along with the other three members of the S25 family, despite countless previous rumors claiming it would arrive later.
