Samsung Galaxy S25's international model appears on Geekbench with Snapdragon 8 Elite
There have been many rumors about the processor that will power Samsung's Galaxy S25 series. While some claim the entire lineup will have the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC at the helm, we spotted the Galaxy S25+ on Geekbench earlier this month with the Exynos 2500 chip. Today, we are looking at the Galaxy S25's international model, which popped up on Geekbench with the Snapdragon 8 Elite, once again fueling rumors of the S25 series being Snapdragon-only.
The international Samsung Galaxy S25 that surfaced on Geekbench has model code SM-S931B, runs Android 15, and has 12GB RAM onboard. It scored 2,986 and 9,355 points in Geekbench's single and multi-core tests, respectively. That's lower than what some other Snapdragon 8 Elite-powered smartphones achieved in our tests, but this could be a prototype, and the retail version should perform better.
The Samsung Galaxy S25 series is rumored to go official later this month, so expect to hear more about the S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra in the coming days.
