Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim model number pops up in certification

Samsung is rumored to announce a new Slim model with its Galaxy S25 series next year. The device will launch in Q2 2025 and come separately from the trio of Galaxy S25, S25+ and S25 Ultra.

A new listing on the GSMA IMEI database revealed the upcoming S25 Slim will bear the SM-S937U model number, presumably the US variant of the device. The international model should launch as the SM-S937.

As its name suggests, Galaxy S25 Slim is expected to be noticeably thinner than the current crop of Galaxy flagships and it may serve as a test for the Galaxy S26 design. Galaxy S25 Slim is expected to launch in Q2 (April – June) 2025, replacing the struggling FE series.

In which case, aramid fibres are great to use.

If you hate connectivity, then unibody metal is indeed great. Everything in a modern smartphone has a radio of its own. Not saying glass is great, but it is there on all phones for a reason.

Carbon fibre backs, aramid fibre backs and unibody aluminium designs are all much better suited to phones than glass, and much more premium too.
