People are complaining about the phone. Many folks will buy it, dueb to still having a few years outdated phones. Those who have the S24 may pr may not get it but I suspect it'll still sell well. For me, if I upgrade I'd get the S25 Ultra because I simply on an A52s that I love but I'm finally on budget for a flagship. Aside from that, though, people will complain and threaten to boycott before actually buying it again. Human nature. People can't resist things as well as they'd like. I'd personally recommend using this year to try out other high end brands. Design isn't an issue for me. I literally only look at the screen AND I use a case anyway. But I'd still recommend trying elsewhere, even if it's just to make a statement that over €1000 phones needs to have better upgrades than this. Camera is basic in terms of evolution and battery is non existent. If you want to play high end games, go elsewhere and you'll get similar results. Most day to day tasks don't need Snapdrgaon Elite though. Most people don't need it.
At the end of the day. Upgrading every year, unless you are on an expensive contract to do so, is seldom worth it. Years ago, we got great upgrades. The lower Samsung S series had beneficial upgrades. The S4 to S5 and so on. Even the A series to a point. But once I got the A52s, I saw the camera actually declined somehow until the A55/A56. Upgrades are minor and in some cases going backwards.
I believe an older model of the S series. Either the S22 or S23 Ultra had a stronger optical zoom, as an example. Other brands are going further with the battery. Something that is probably the most important factor to some folks.
At the end of the day, this phone IS an upgrade. It can be worth it. It's just not not worth it as a direct upgrade.

Dont expect a revolutionary design. that time is gone years ago. Now phones are like Laptops, what is the difference between 2021 Dell XPS and 2024 Dell XPS? or Macbook Pro or Lenovo Ideapad? nothing! only some tweaks and specs upgrade. We reached the peak of smartphones just like Laptops in 2003.

Well it is the same boring design!
This new Ultra is nothing but a little upgrade for the previous version with newer CPU, and a little bit better telephoto camera and of course with an updated soft. But generally speaking it's a prove of lack of imagination and lack of interest to make serious evolution to make the Samsung customers happy.
It is quite boring to see year by year the same design with just a few upgrades meanwhile all brands makes serious progress in development.
One of other general big issues of Samsung products including the Smartwatches are the batteries!!! Come on, wake up guys!!! It is unacceptable to have a phone or especially a Smartwatch for active people who goes for out door activity and trips and suddenly find yourself out of power in the middle of nowhere!!! It is totally unacceptable!!!
This phone has the same battery as the previous phone and of course with same charging capacity and of course with the same short life. No way!!!
Honestly I am very disappointed despite I was in fond of Samsung products.

The Vivo X200 Pro launched in my regionn just before the S25 Ultra. The surprising part isn’t just that it’s back after the X50; it’s the price. At $2,150 for the X200 Pro, really?
The S Ultra, iPhone Pro Max, and Honor Magic Pro typically start around $1,499 to $1,599. These are the only high-end smartphone options we have. I wanted the X200 Pro, but now.... now I'm unsure.....
