Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra stars in another teardown video and has a surprise inside

A few days ago the first teardown video of the new Galaxy S25 Ultra went live, and today we have another one. This time it's Zack Nelson from the JerryRigEverything YouTube channel doing the deed, and finding an interesting tidbit in the process.

The internet has been in a tizzy about the removal of Bluetooth functionality from the S25 Ultra's S Pen, even though most people who are decrying it probably have never used it. Samsung, we assume, knows that, which is why it chose to go with this obvious cost-cutting measure in its most expensive slab-style device, betting that normal people who go into carrier stores to get the S25 Ultra won't know or care.

But the internet does care, and so does Zack. Hilariously, it looks like Samsung left the inductive charger inside the S Pen's dock. So theoretically, the company could at some point sell a Bluetooth-enabled S Pen for the S25 Ultra separately, if it wanted to (the S24 Ultra's doesn't fit). The S Pen that comes bundled with the S25 Ultra doesn't have a battery so it can't actually be charged, even though the handset would be able to.

It's a grand conspiracy on Samsung's part, or it's just cost cutting, we don't know and of the S25 Ultra's buyers, most won't care at all (and even less will care about the amount of recycled cobalt in the battery, we'd wager). But all of this nicely feeds the "Samsung is slacking" sentiment online, and we can't say it hasn't all been entertaining to watch, especially with Samsung's seemingly unforced errors like the presence of the inductive charger for the battery-less S Pen.

Interestingly, the S25 Ultra's battery apparently doesn't have any adhesive, so its removal is extremely easy. It's also impossible to damage the mic hole at the bottom with a SIM removal tool, thanks to how it's designed. Both the bottom and the top speakers have foam balls to make them sound larger than they actually are.
