Samsung Galaxy S II officially coming to UK on May 1st

11 April, 2011

Samsung fans rejoice! The highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy S II will hit the retail network in the United Kingdom on May 1st after a series of delay rumors. As you already know, we have already gone up close and personal with the device and we are nothing short of impressed by it.

The new Samsung flagship will be available upon its launch to "all major networks and retailers" in the UK. The UK retail version of the Galaxy S II will ship with a 1.2GHz dual-core processor - unlike the pre-release version we have in our office which is clocked at 1GHz.

There is currently no info on the availability of the device in the other markets but we'll be sure to keep our ears to the ground for announcements. Meanwhile, check out our hands on with the red-hot Galaxy S II, and stay tuned for a full review in the coming days.
