Okay... Its weird. Mine stopped working 24th od kilku 2016 after nearly 3 years of using. Samsung is playing dirty with the customers doing mess like this. I will never buy an iPhone but Samsung please... Stop being like this. Mamy of devices like TVs or phones from Samsung are randomly dies or damaging.

My Samsung MINI just stop today, i dont know what happened? i try to change the battery but it wont open. i have the same problem like others, what a coincidence? What shall we do?

How nice!
It seems like "non documented feature", mine stopped working the same way.
Noticed that a week ago after being on holiday trip.
It is fully charget, or supposed to be, but does not work.
I planned to purchase new battery, but based on your messages that may not help.
Is it just for 3 years and "off"...?
I thought Samsung would be quality...

Liked the phone but sound began giving problems at 2 year mark. Also randomly dropped login info for various apps, wouldn't connect to network, dropped calls, decreasing battery life (less than a day of use). Android 4.4.2. Got so bad I took it to dealer, who saved data to my samsung account and did factory reset. Lost all logs, contacts, images, music, apps. Contacted Samsung, turns out I should have used Samsung Smart Switch to save data. Stupid dealer didn't know that and neither did stupid user. Phone still has intermittent sound, random issues. Hope this is not an example of samsung quality because I like the GUI.

My Samsung s4 mini just stopped working after about 2 years.
Battery replaced and software checked including mother boards still cannot switch on not even directly when plugged in to the charger. What could be the issue??????

bought this phone (new) in january 2016, previous one was nokia e52.
i am not touch devices fan, average smart phones are too big in my eyes,
my priority was phone size and weight. i am not using a phone as laptop replacement for internet surfing, emailing and so on. just for calls, sms, sometimes to make a photo, sometimes to use wifi for internet connection for to search something urgent.
no permanent internet, no permanent wifi, no permanent bluetooth.
in these conditions my battery lasts 4 to 6 days depends on traffic.
most battery eater is display, therefore as much display in use and as much backlight, then shorter battery life. for example, hour and half internet surfing on wifi, average backlight will eat aprox. 20-23% from battery.

My s4 mini model is I9195, bought more than 2 years ago. I've been experiencing the same problems: Intermittent connection to my mobile network, no SIM detected (I've just changed to a new SIM card to try to solve the no-connection problem), and battery draining really quickly.
There must be a problem that's beyond the control of phone users as it seems there are quite a few of us experiencing this and we're in different parts of the world. Maybe a software update that messed up the android version in this model (kitkat?). How can we do something about this? How do we tell Samsung?

please some one give the true detail of this s4 mini plus battery life. It is in an offer in my country valid til next month 15th. so please guide me. i want to know only about battery life (screen on time with one charge, and days of use with one charge). i thought this is the only model with 125cm height and decent battery life.

I don't think it's a main board problem, I think it could be a software problem: I own this phone for two years, but this problem starts 2 or 3 months ago.
In the meantime I change the battery and the charger, but nothing...
I think that some recent apps or system updates cause this issue, but I can't identify which ones.

Hi Team,
My S4 has "no service" message even if the simcard is inserted or not.
Sometimes it can come into the network just for some minutes and then go down again.

My phone will only text - when I try to make a call it pops up mobile network not available
