@Original-Jamaican, Nice to know, from your elaborated experience I think I will settle my quarrel with this 5.0 firmware update.
I hope this marshmallow update is for real, and not just a vapor ware.
Can you tell me the late the 'kernel version date' and 'SE for Android' dates I want to see if I'm on the latest, mine are : Monday April 20 2015 for the kernel version date and Friday 17 July 2015 for the SE for Android date.Thank much.

It's nice to know that I inspire you to use a similar nickname. Big up. My nickname dates back to the 90s.
I got my S5 brand new out of the box running KitKat October last year. As a new phone the battery lasted long. On average it would take 10 minutes before the battery would lose 1% while browsing the internet on Wi-Fi.
In August that time decreased to around 3 minutes. I upgraded to Lollipop shortly after and on average the time before losing a percent has increased between 5-6 minutes. That's how I know Lollipop gives gives good battery life.

Bought my Galaxy s5 GM 900h official lollipop on this 27 of November, so far it has been the best of device I've had coming from an Exynos 4412 (galaxy s3) I think the octa-core variant is quiet powerful despite what others are saying about it's quad core variant.I believe the battery life was better in kit kat (even though my was originally in 5.0) because I can see long battery life in 5.0 so this convinces me that kit kat was a bit better.Regarding performance and battery life I always keep my in 'Power saving' mode and get speedy performance, I will recommend to uncheck the 'screen output' in the power saving mode to get be able to get a normal brightness production instead of the low screen brightness in give you.This machine whiles in power saving mode not only gives you speedy performance but also a better battery (let's hope marshmallow can reduce the total power consumption of the chipset to be able to UNLEASH THE 5422.Whats up Original-Jamacian. :-)

Hello everyone! Please help, why is it everytime i tried to play music via speaker I am hearing nothing but music continues to play. Even the jack of my speaker isn't damaged because I'm using it on my pc. But when I'm using earphone, i can hear the music that I'm playing.

g900h. superp phone , screen is awesome , camera is fantastic , high performance , no lag after 1 year usage , screen time on 8 hours ( web browsing - music - chatting ) no heat issue max 34-35 , antutu bench mark scored 49000 , fast charging , great water proof

I am from Bangladesh. Sm g9ooh is a good phone but Samsung is not updating its android version. The phone is heating enough and lagging. 5.1 is awesome than 5 version of lollipop.
