Review after 1 year of using S5 g900h octa-core version ( kitkat 4.4.2 ):
* Intially phone used to heat up to 40°c after rooting mobile it stays between 34°to 35°c
* Can add more apps in ultra power saving mode after rooting
* Battery lasts whole day and drops 2% in night
* Can play all games without any lag after rooting and removing bloatware
Pros:
* Good battery life
* IP67 :-)
* Can use multiple apps in UPSM mode
* Downgraded from lollipop 5.0 to kitkat 4.4.2 ( Kitkat is better than lollipop )
Cons:
* Lollipop is a big con since rooting is not available.
****Root at your own risk****

I am from India and I am using Samsung Galaxy S5 Octa-core (SM-G900H). Its pretty good phone, very good hardware performance. I have 2 issues with the phone. (1) Heating problem while sending/receiving big files over wifi/shareit. (2) Although I accept that Lollipop 5.0 is one of the best stable OS on Galaxy S5 considering other smartphones running on Lollipop 5.0, but the main problem of Lollipop 5.0 is that I can't move app to SD Card. All apps by default installed on phone memory which certainly decreases the phone memory because some apps have huge data. I just want to know whether Lollipop 5.1 also have same issue ? When Android Marshmallow is coming to S5 in India ? Please answer if you have the answer. Thanks.
Samsung Galaxy S5 :
PROS:
1) Awesome Camera
2) Super Battery....almost 9 hours of Internet browsing, watching videos online. Only 1% waste over night.
3) Stunning display colors.
4) Water & Dust Proof
5) Matt finish back cover is excellent for grip on hands unlike S6, which slips.
6) Finger print scanner & lots of other sensors like pulse rate, stress sensor etc.
CONS:
1) Over-heating while sending / receiving files big files over wifi.
2) Can't move apps to SD Card.

Gamers are going to love this feedback.
My S5 is running Lollipop 5.0. It's on power saving mode with with background data restriction enabled. I downloaded the brand new Dead Effect 2 which was released a few days ago, from the Playstore. In reading the comments from others who dowloaded it from the Playstore reviews, a few persons said it crashed or wouldn't load etc. especially if the maxed out the graphics/3D settings due to hardware limitation on their phones...People with HTC flagships like the One M8 etc. complained a lot!!!
All of the CPU-cores on my S5 are running at 500MHZ which means it's running at less than half the original clockspeed due to the power saving mode with the 'limit CPU speed' enabled. I was suprised at how smooth the game runs even with all the graphics settings maxed out. They are all on Extreme etc. I have experienced no lagging, no hang-ups, no crashing and no funny behaviour whatsoever which speaks volumes about the power of the Galaxy S5. A friend of mine who is running Dead Effect 2 on iOS has to set his graphics/3D settings to medium otherwise the game will crash. The S5 is a POWERHOUSE even if it doesn't seem that way at times.

Some people talking about the S5 being cheap now. It's still quite an expensive phone. Most of the prices on E-Bay are US$400 or higher and most of the prices on Amazon are close to US$400 for a phone which isn't too far from being 2 years old that's NOT cheap as most new flagship phones are in the region of US$500-US$700.

I have a G900H and it's basically perfect. The most battery percentage I will lose overnight is probably 2%. Most times just 1%. I have been using it for 1 year and 5 days to date. Maybe you should change your battery. Get a new one.

I have that Galaxy s5 g900p(sprint) wich has exynos like g900H.
I have disabled every thing I can and have powersaving on.
still the battery goes from 100% til 46% over night.
its a good phone if you have it in ultra powersaving mode and never use it.
I just hate this phone I bought it from Ebay (from china). never doing that again.
I had LG G2 before and its far better phone in every way.
but I heard that snapdragon version is a lot better.
beware of this shitty version from samsung.
its unusable

Big fish for a low price doesn't exist, don't forget this.
Very bad phone, becareful, it seems to be good, but every day it is programmed to download different programs, porno or not, games, etc., the you uninstall but 3 minutes later they are uploaded again and the phome momorie is full.
Advise: I don't know the rest of the chinese models, but this one is very bad.
I have a fiernd whobought more than 40 phones of different models from Chine (Aliexpress), and it happens the same.
What can I do, per haps it is worthwhile to pay a bit more for an original it is what I will do next time.
(I have send many emails to Chine, the man who sold my device, but never answer..China, I'm sorry, you are very cheap but it means you have to pay many times for the same product, and it pays to pay a bit more for an original only once)
