            tcool if i use sim 1 slot 3G data sim2 slot will be off,and if change 2 sim places this problem happen for me again,in the android 5 lolipap there is not any point for tik recive incomin calls,what i can doing please guide me

I cannot find other phone with dual SIM, fingerprint lock and water resistant all in one phone. Others may have water resistant and dual SIM but no fingerprint lock. Others may have fingerprint lock but no water resistant and no dual SIM.

                Hola!!!

                I bought this in KSA- Jeddah for $335.00 the Equivalent 1280 SAR. There's a huge market of mobiles around Mainland Jeddah and not many know the features this fone has.. which is why this phone is out of stock from Jarir, Extra and other major electronics showroom.. even FMP and Axiom were out of stock on this.. I had to scout through the mobile markets and found a handfull of pieces.. i preferred to pick the gold colour.. but my options were limited to black and blue. Blue is awesome and its a fantastic fone.. fantastic to the specs, the Processor speed and the no of applications.. it ran the updates overnight and am on the latest OS of Android. Take a look at the Specs clearly and you will know why this fone is sold out.. the mobile shop owners hardly know.. ofcourse.. previously dual sim fones had some flak on over heating.. os freezing and things like that.. but thats because of the os not the fone... Bought it yesterday and both sims work in perfect harmony. I dont like the ringtone and the message tone.. Blackberry was way more discreet and better (z30 user) nevertheless.. if YOUR getting your hands on one..Grab it. wont let you down for this price point.. its a stand out.

                          I'm back with some info regarding the battery life on Lollipop. On average, with my config (please see below) the phone uses about 34% of the battery per 24 hours. During the night (9h) it uses about 5% of the battery. To me it seems that during standby the battery drain is less than for 4.4.2.

                          Other info:
                          - During normal usage it seems to get a bit hotter than 4.4.2 (on 4.4.2 I only noticed it getting hot when using the camera for a long time)
                          - I've had some problems with sending SMS on Vodafone RO subscription: I could receive SMS but not send (no such problems however on second SIM Vodafone RO pre-pay). Only the first SMS was sent, for the rest of SMS the phone couldn't send them. I solved it by manually forcing the number for the SMS Center into Settings -> Messages -> Text Messages -> Message Center -> "SIM1". The number was already there, but somehow the phone did not use it. After deleting and entering the same number and pressing "Save" to save the SMS Center number for SIM1 it started working. And it is still working after phone reboot.

                          More info:
                          - Phone config: Wifi - ON, Bluetooth - ON (connected with Android Wear), 3G/4G - OFF, Location - OFF, Power saving - ON (without restrict background data), Other toggles - OFF, Fingerprint login, Encryption ON, Motion and gestures OFF (except Smart Alert and Mute/Pause which are ON)
                          - Low voice usage, some SMS usage
                          - Some data usage (Wifi)

                                Lewis, 18 Jul 2015I've bought the S5 duos and its a great phone. However, I a... moreI have same problem as Lewis - S5 G900FD dual sim UAE build running Jelly Bean. When first set up txts worked fine (EE sim in slot1 3 sim slot2) after a while and after loading various Apps noticed no sms seemed to arrive.
                                Did full reset after loads of messing around then everything OK again. swap between EE and three sim for data (EE account has no data and three is unlimited 4G - I use EE for work calls) all worked fine. Loaded back apps bit by bit and seemed OK - noticed now txts stopped working properly again. I have message delivery reports set to on and initially messages sent OK and I got delivery reports. Now msg seems to send, I get no delivery report and messages sent to me don't arrive. I'm trying to figure out if its a setting or an app that is causing the problem but any clues gratefully received by anyone having similar issues.

                                  I have finally decided to take a chance and install official lollipop update on my S5 duos, and so far things are OK (phone's region is UAE). It installed two updates (first to BOD1, second to BOE2)

                                  Version: 5.0
                                  Baseband: G900FDXXU1BOE1
                                  Kernel: 3.4.0-4516970 Tue May 12 13:27:06 KST 2015
                                  Build: LRX21T.G900FDXXU1BOE2

                                  Nice things that work better than in 4.4.2:
                                  - Fingerprint unlock with encrypted phone and enteprise Exchange
                                  - Better integration with Android Wear: ability to reply to sms directly from Wear device and using default samsung messaging, control phone Wifi, sound, music from Mini Launcher

                                  One thing that I found is not working as in 4.4.2 is the ability to reconnect to Wifi when out of sleep. Currently when out of sleep, the phone WIFI toggle is on but does not connect automatically. If you toggle it OFF then ON, it works OK, so i decided to disable Wifi auto-off.

                                  Battery consumption seems better than in 4.4.2, but I'll post more info after a couple of days (btw, I use Android Wear, Bluetooth ON, Wifi ON, Mobile data OFF, 3G/4G OFF - only on when needed, Location - OFF)

                                    I got my s5 duos a cpl of weeks back from uae, it was inbuilt lollipop, no heating issues, but battery lasts only 24 hrs, looking for a better update, the phone is superb anyways. .....

Sometimes people complain that my phone is not reachable. Do you face similar problem ? I have latest russian firmware installed on my S5 duos.

                                        Also while using data service from Sim 2 I cant make calls or SMS from SIM1. Cant find solution to above problems.
