AnonD-531273, 24 May 2016The battery is draining really fast: 2-3 percents on night.... moreTo resolve battry draining issue in 6.0.1 marshmallow s5 duos g900fd then go to settings select battery then select battery usage then select the three dots at the top right corner and select optimize battery usage option and in that switch on all the apps (known and unknown apps). Thats it. U will definitely see a drastic different in draining battery without any sync issues. Enjoy.... Also pls let me know your feedback

Hello.I buyed a samsung s5 fd mobile one year ago.After the first update for OS,the phone warm up when battery is charging or when I am in internet or when it work with applications.please help

Excuse my poor English. Updated to Android 6.0.1 UAE and so far no problems. I cleared cache before updating. Battery usage the same as Lollipop about 4 days between recharges. 4g working with no connection problems. No real improvements after updating that are obvious at the moment

Anonymous, 26 May 2016Today i updated to 601 and the 4g is not working...uae s5 d... moreAlslam alycom;try first to convert the network on sim2 to be 4g and sim1 mode will automatically convert to 2g from settings >more networks>mobile networks and if 4g working with sim2 on this situation so return the sim1 mode on 4g and sim2 on 2g mode and makd following :
1- change the slots by power off mobile and change two sim 1 in slot 2 and sim2 in slot 1 and try 4g connection of working so sim1 the in the slot 2 is have problems and need to be changed; if the 4 g is not working reset the phone to factory reset from boot menu ( on power off mode push in the samd time powef button with volume up and home buttons until boot mode appear and choose factory reset wipe data . I'm waiting your reply.😊🙂

Friends i downloaded the marshmallow 6.0.1 for UAE s5 dous today and this is my notices:
1-the charging time from 5%to full increased to be 1 hour and 45 minutes instead of 1 hour and 15 min.
2-in moderate continues usage the battery charge is exhausted slightly rabid than lolipop.
3-the icon applications and shapes is more better than lolipop.
4- rames occupied by application less than lolipop 1 giga of 1.67 g.
5-for good download and installation without any distirbance earse the cashed data from the boot menu (power button with soundraising and home button in the same time at the phone power off mode.
6- powersaving mode can be activated at different battery charge.

You all guys first of all do wipe cache partition and further do factory hard reset if issues are still persist. Then write your issue with marshmallow 6.0.1 battery related or laggyness.
All major firmware update requires this steps to settle down the issues.

No need to root the phone. In settings Just select voice call (native) under recording strategy. It records both the voices without any issues. Im using s5 duos g900fd 6.0.1.

I updated the phone to 6.0 and it becomes laggy and hot and charging so slowly.
S5 version 5.0 , the results in qurdant before update was around 26000
Now after getting 6.0 , the result goes down to 12000
The phone need another update batch to fix these issues.

Updating to 6.0.1 emirates firmware , lag on the lockscreen waking up the lockscreen very slow and laggy , charge very slow and the battery draining faster than lollipop , only new icons nothing changes , the same old touchwiz the same widgets , yeah we users of the s5 duos ( more expensiv than the s5 ) thank you samsung for this f...king update .

I have updated to Android 6.0.1.
Conclusion: sometimes is laggy (laggy than Lollipop) and the charge is very very slow.
