I am using Samsung S5 Duos G900FD in India and I use one BSNL Sim and another Airtel Sim. It is not dual sim active phone that is at one time you can use only one sim and you wont receive a miss call on another sim if there is an incoming call. If both sim are idle you can recieve call on both. You can use Data on one sim only. There is an option in Sim Card Manager for Dual Sim Active but it will work only if your sim provider allows call forwarding. In my case BSNL does not allow call forwarding to other networks so I cant get dual sim active.

Use a faux leather S-view flip cover and you will be happy.

can anyone tell me: 1. how good the battery on this thing is with moderate to high usage? is there enough juice to get me through atleast 5 hours of talk-time and about 5 hours of data/wi-fi usage on a daily basis? i hate sammy phones but i'm kinda really interested in this one since i dont want to carry 2 phones around anymore and this one seems to be the only dual sim phone option available at the moment. really want to wait for the Huawei ascend mate 7 with a whopping 4100 mAh battery but its not available in Dubai yet. Also its a 6 " phablet :(. someone pls respond.

I really don't like the back design in S5 but dual sim, spec and price wise seems to be the best device(from the main brands) ... i think i will be courting this device soon.

ZONG 3G / 4G LTE FREQUENCY BANDS
3G: 2100 MHz
4G: 1800 MHz
Zong does give the handsets on its website for most of the phone manufacturers. However, as several phone models have different frequencies for different regions of the world, it might be a better idea for Zong to simply give it's 3G/4G frequency band, so that the user knows whether his phone will work on Zong or not.
Current customers of Zong or Zong Customer Service may want to confirm if my understanding of the frequency bands is correct and may also consider putting the information on its website.

I exactly followed the same steps, bought 4g Sim from Zong's Customer services center in Islamabad, on their advice went for rooting of the device and the reponse of the expert was the same that was given to you. However, I have one particular observation, you or any of the users might be able to help/guide me.
My Handset shows following three network modes only.
1-WCDMA/GSM
2-WCDMA only
3-GSM only
If my handset is 4G LTE and then why it is not showing the option of 4G LTE in network mode? Is it required or 4G works on WCDMA network.

Data connection is g... moreI use the phone exactly the same like you with the same operators also & I face the same issues and the battery life is not more than 5-6 hours and the device is getting hot during use & it seems like it is burning during charging.
Do you face these other issues ??

I logged a complain regarding the same issue to PTA and got a call from Zong Customer Services and they said me to root the handset but when I went to a software expert, he said that rooting is nothing to do with Zong LTE as they are currently not providing 4G on any of the Samsung handsets (you can check the official zong website as well).. So I again did a complain of this issue to PTA. Lets see when I get the response from the concerns. Kindly update me if you are done with the same issue. Thank you
