yes is the answer to all yr questions...iam using s5 now and its awesome...loving it...this is the only Samsung I love with no heating issue while chatting for long...my note 3 use to heat up like mad...s5 duos is the best android right now

I am using it right now and it is faster than what you think even both SIMs are active.

OK, few scenarios I am confused about, due to comments and order of comments below.
Would appreciate someone answering for me.
Background:
I would be using the primary SIM as personal SIM card (phone, text and data) and second SIM for phone calls and texts for work only (no data).
1) Will the SIM cards be able to receive 2 calls at the same time....and therefore give me an option of which to receive (providing I don't answer one)?
2) If I am browsing internet (using SIM 1 for data) will I be able to receive calls from SIM 2?
3) How easy is it to specify which SIM to call from..i don't want to make the mistake of calling a work person on my personal number.

dual stand by means that if activate mobile data on a sim the other sim will go offline
there is an option that allows you to activate mobile data on a sim card while the other sim is activated but it dramatically slows down your connection so it will be useless.

2. Is both sim can use wcdma or 4g or just 1 sim 4g and 2nd sim gsm/2G only
2nd question is very important for me.
I am going to buy 900GD version.

I'm having some problems with my s5 dual sim. Alot of the time I have to restart my device as when people try to call me they say my phone is switched of. Also when I try to make a call it just freezes so I have to restart device.

I will just use one slot for data SIM and the other for regular sim card for calling.

Tcool, 08 Sep 2014Can you elaborate what is the difference between dual stand... moreon dual standby both sims are ready for incoming calls but you can not answer call on both sim at the same time unlike dual active you are able to answer the second call only you need to put on hold the first call and vise versa.
