I dont know why my s5 mini is slow in gaming performance. modern combat 3, modern combat 4 , real racing 3, asphalt 8 airborne, gta vice city, dead trigger 1. all of that games I mentioned is laggy LOW FPS. WTF!! My OS is lollipop 5.1.1. g800f lte model and UNROOTED..!

Galaxy s5 mini marshmallow update hevy heat battery drain just seen my eye fasssst drain why samsung why? I just previous lollipop no problems after downloading marshmallow installing do not open just samsung logo blinking hours ago
I just remove battery then power on working but battery drain issu samsung help mere?

I update my samsung s5 mini software , now after re-starting it , its just showing samsung logo for hours now . can you tell what do if there is any other option

Over the past couple of years of reasonably heavy use i've found my S5 Mini to be an excellent phone, (G800F - 5.1.1). Frequently making calls in average reception areas where other phones fail. Dropped a few times without drama, (basic plastic cover and good quality screen protector). A couple of dunks in water without issue. Very very reliable. As i write, up time of 2,021 hours, ie. about three months without reboot! I suggest a rare achievement for modern hard working small sophisticated CPU centric domestic level device. Qudos to you Samsung. Keep up the good work.

Don't buy this phone, it's terrible! I had it and even Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini, it's predecessor, is better at running games and stuff. The GPU is really outdated and isn't futureproof.

Marshmallow, 06 Mar 2017Is it marshmallow?Yes, it was Marshmallow, and it's working well. The "Doze" deep sleep function is very effective at extending battery life. No clever tricks required to get it working happily. Had hoped the buggy auto-brightness might be fixed but no such luck, but small point really.

Some of you asked earlier if this phone works with 128 GB micro sd card. I just received one (Toshiba) and I can confirm that it works without problems, it sees 116GB thats the same as card reader, don't know why Samsung says everywhere in specifications that max. is 64GB. I have a G800F for hungarian market with Lollipop, not updating to MM yet cause I heard that some people having problems with GPS signal after update

After updating to marshmallow please do not install any apps. just factory reset the phone and there wont be battery drain problem. RESTARTING THE PHONE AFTER MARSHMALLOW UPDATE WILL NOT HELP. AFTER UPDATING TO MARSHMALLOW FACTORY RESET THE PHONE AND THE BATTERY WILL LAST LONG.
Also, turn off auto sync option and do not register or login to samsung account, and use nano launcher to save from battery drain. I have disabled auto sync option and changed the screen brightness to auto. Havent installed any games or additional apps, except for whatsapp. Logging into samsung account and using samsung apps will drain the battery faster. Hope this helps.

Lineageos only root workin going to marshmallow to kitkat 4.4.2 any problems eg: phone dead or any other issu
