Guys don't be fooled by this market tricks don't buy this mini's u don't get good support. Its better to go with flagship models. I have s4 mini duos still they didn't update the latest android KitKat and the phone have heating issues because of network. Only flagship models get immediately updates. Don't buy any mini.

thats the reason we buy s5 mini after s4 mini, because apple and samsung wont release any updates after that, thats marketing, also i myself hate to do everything on my phone via itunes, i cant download torrent on it, i cant expand the memory, i cant play 1080p videos smoothly, i cant customize my lockscreen on it,
thats the reason i wont buy too much money on a phone like that

Apple ''manages'' ram better because Ios is a locked system, not open-source like android. Yes, it's easier to manage your own room. This are pros and cons in buying something with android or with ios. The problem is when people choose to pay 700 $ on something with ios, being so limited. I may be wrong, but the same model of thinking applies here in romania. Better have a comunist (ceausescu) lead you than having a democratic president and having to think on your own.

An iPhone 4 with 512 Mb of ram is way better than Note 3 Neo with 2 GB of ram. Why? Because Samsung never bothered to optimize their product ram usage.
The S4 mini was overclocked to 1.7 Ghz dual core cpu and can run apps faster and preform way better than the S5 mini with maximum 1.4 Ghz quad core cpu. More cores only helps in multi-tasking work but more speed will give you better experience in gaming or sliding through the pages.
Anonymous has a good point why the S4 mini is a better phone compared to S5 mini.

iraqi, 05 Jul 2014and why you are so angry if you dont like it don't buy it, ... moreThe reason why I'm angry is that there are NOT any good phone in the phone market today. I was hoping in Samsung, but they just re-release the same phones from last year (with some downgrade added).
iPhone is not smartphone, but foolphone. Doesn't even worth to mention. But it's true that Android phones have tons of unwanted bloatware that eats RAM.
I knew that someone will mention the cores and will say wrong things.
A dual core processor with higher GHZ is better than a quad core processor with lower GHZ. Why? Because the majority of processes is single threaded, so the single threaded performance is the most important.
And don't forget that it will have higher screen resolution. So if the GPU will be the same as in S4 mini, then the performance will be much worse than the S4 mini's performance.
There is more difference between S3 mini and S4 mini than S4 mini and S5 mini. (Same is with the S3 S4 S5.)
And Samsung wants £350+ for this... It's ridiculous.

This is a very overpriced phone, and way too big, to be a "mini". This phone bigger than BB Z10, or Xperia Z1 Compact (which is a way better phone, for the same price).
