They get rid of the plastic coating on the glass which scratches easily and is non removable.
Improve Volume of speaker phone.
Galaxy 5 Mini might be good but compromise on
8 megapixel Camera ( ¿ ).
G2 Mini Tegra has quad core , 13 megapixel Camera ( LTE Bands for TMobile/Metro USA, but NOT released in USA ) BUT no one can get it, no one has done a hands on review.
I have asked about 5 Suppliers about G2MINI TEGRA,- no one can get it, wonder if it was ever really released by LG ....
While I wait for a good MINI I might have to get a
fragile S4 then put a case on it and it will be even bulkier-lol.

as i read this galaxy s5 mini will be a very good and compact cell phone. i will be waiting to buy one as soon that it comes out. i should be happy with it.thanks a million.

I was hoping for a 13 Megapixel Camera at least like the S4 Camera.
The S4 Mini has specs roughly similar to full sized G3 camera and CPU.
So I thought S 5 Mini might be similar to the full S4 re: Camera and CPU.
Maybe a full featured S5 Mini Pro will happen, but I am probably dreaming.
I want a smaller S4 or S5 that will fit in my pocket and smaller screens are
less likely to break .
The larger screens and thinner designs are creating some very fragile devices.

S4 mini is for 16500 INR at Flipkart.com. If S5 mini is more than 20000 INR I am not going to buy it. At launch S4 mini was 27000 INR, so I guess S5 mini would be 30000 + INR for just 2-3 extra features which not everyone wants. LOL.

Hello! Does anyone have any info about an official announcement from Samsung? When is the release date? Is there a delay? Will it be launched at the Samsung event on June 12th? What is taking so long for the S5 mini to get officially released? It's frustrating for the fans that want to buy the device.

When someone makes a powerful Android with a 5.0" to 5.1 " Tall Device
and a screen size of about 4.7 " like the Moto X with a better Camera, removable
Battery, and SD Card Storage and 2 GIG or more RAM, it will be a big seller.
The LG G2 Mini Tegra is close but needs 2 GIG RAM ,better screen..
The Galaxy S 5 Mini is close also.
MOTO X was very close, but they went big size on Moto X 2.
4.7" screen ,5.1 " Tall Device FULL FEATURES $450. to $ 550.

It really baffles me that samsung continue to miss the point of the 'S5 mini' we want a high speced phone with the features of the big one in a smaller form?
whats so hard to get about this concept, if it doesnt have the processor/camera/features of the S5 then ITS NOT A MINI VERSION OF THE S5.....ffs
the size of the s5 is the only reason I havent bought one.

It would be a smart move to do like the Oppo Find 7 mini and use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor with a quad core at a speed of 1.6 GHZ (less than the S4 mini by 0.1 GHZ but quad core instead of dual core), if Samsung does that move the S5 mini will be a hit for sure! Personally i would buy it right away...
