Hi.
I've got this phone for few months, and I can say, I'm satisfy.
Ok the phone isn't fast as I expect for octa-core but it's ok for everyday tasks, even for playing some games, overall it's ok. Battery is good, camera is Ok, display is fantastic...
But, if you are looking for FAST phone, STOP looking!
NEXUS is your solution!
* NEXUS 5 was REALLY, REALLY FASTTTTT phone, never lack, never block, this phone was never slow even playing the most powerful games, open as many as you like apps, choose between them instantly, at the end just close them, everything was done in millisecond... I don't know how, but is't TRUE!
* NEXUS 6 - EVEN BETTER!
* NEXUS 5X and 6P - .... WHAT CAN i SAY?
Nexuses are not so premium as newest Samsung, HTC and Apple, maybe not so premium camera or display, but those phones are lighting fast! Don't even try to compare with their competition!
IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE ME, TRY IT, OR ASK SOME NEXUS (5 or higher model) USER!

Obviously the best option is to get your carrier to unlock it for you but since you can't the online sites (don't use any random sites use trusted ones) as they tend to do it for cheaper.

Anonymous, 09 Sep 2016where is the privacy mode?In Private tab has been replaced by secret mode activated by the bottom left button labeled "Enable Secret Mode" in the tabs screen (at least on the Android 6.01 version). When secret mode is enabled any new tab you open is considered a privacy tab.

Installing Nova Launcher over Touch wiz has made my Neo far less laggy. Memory use is much better.
The phone is fast, it just doesn't know how to manage memory properly it seems.

I came from using an iPhon... moreFor those users claiming that s5 neo is slow well sorry to hear that for you guys its slow, i have the phone and i believe its way better than my 5s before i don't experience lag updated to 6.0.1 no prob. If your not use to android and for your first try this phone disappoints you then don't bother buying.. if i wear you? Go to the cell shop test different kinds of phones before you buy? Other wise your just wasting your time and breath.. if you stick to iphone that you believe is way better then don't come to android.. simple as you love iOS then don't go android.

Nice phone to hold but must agree with other reviewers that it is slow and seems to constantly lag. It takes about 5 seconds to respond to every touch. It is very frustrating when you're trying to answer a call and the phone doesn't accept that you are swiping to answer call. Changed from Moto G (3rd Gen) but going back to it now as the S5 Neo is irritatingly slow.

In case of problem with you mobile you need to contact Samsung support. However in case of issues with your apps you need to contact the apps support. My only issue with the new Android 6.0 was that Google Mail app was not opening (the default Mail app was still working). After contacting Google app support the issue was fixed in 2 days. Just my 2 cents...
