Paul b, 13 Dec 2015Have the same problem with SD card and the back cover being... morehi you must buy a new sd card for neo ihave the same problem too my s4 have samsung made class 10 sd card 2 months old .. do just same but not on s4 i copied the old card to new and no problem and there is no back panel sensor it wakes up if the unit says sd card has remowed ....... you must put new sd card in to this device 32 gig samsung made class 10 is just 10 euros!!

First time phone review, so I will try to be concise.
Bell Canada replaced my Galaxy S5 with a Galaxy S5 NEO.
After using the Neo for a week (GS5 was 7 months old before I broke it) these are my thoughts.
Battery life is WORSE than the original S5 and I have less apps running/installed on the Neo.
Also, the Neo has the regular micro USB port while the S5 had the larger port with a different charging cable. I've noticed the Neo model charges much slower.
This thing overheats like a mofo. Screen will auto dim and camera flash will not work.
The Neo also lacks Gorilla glass. This hasn't been an issue, however it feels like a downgrade to me.
I would avoid this phone if possible.

I am so lost with this phone and cannot find help anywhere
I had a galaxy 3 before and it was so easy. I cannot even edit contacts.
There is no End Call on this phone. I am so sorry that I got talked into this.

The Neo has a built in FM Receiver However, I couldn't find anywhere on the phone to use it, so I contacted Samsung. They confirmed that it has an FM receiver in the hardware, but that you can't access it, other than through internet radio. What's the point of that? Like selling a phone with a video camera in the hardware, and then telling you the great feature doesn't actually work.

I keep coming back for this wonderful phone. It has the right size and the right grip on your hands, it's got good water-resistant (both headphone jack and USB charging port according to Samsung) and an improved camera (from last year's S5) and a cleaner/lighter/faster Touchwhiz that i have not seen before. For its price and specs i will definitely recommend this phone to anyone.

Hi I have a choice of phones which is the s5 or the s5 neo and after reading all the posts there is still no clear indication which is the best and I prefer not to hear it depends what you want to use the phone for, as I want to do the most of every thing with one of the two phones and surely one of them must do just that so which is it.

I dont understand, almost every spec is worse than the S4, except for 8 core and waterproof... what was the point of that phone to begin with ???
