The phone was off when i wake up and could not start even i charge the battery for 2 hours . Is there anything i need to do before i go to the service center ???

Anonymous, 24 Dec 2015My Samsung Galaxy S6 duos is always hot. Is there anything ... moreTry keeping one of the sim card defunct if you are using two sims at the same time. They just keep channelling network signals often draining most of the battery, making it quite hot.
The chipset is based on the snapdragon 810 which is notorious for overheating. I've been using a Lumia 950xl which uses the same processor and gets heated occasionally even though the manufacturer claims that it has a liquid cooling feature.

I hate the fact that you can't remove the battery like you can with the S5. Nice way to screw up a smart phone. Don't copy the iPhone, Samsung.

I am having a problem getting the bluetooth to pair up with my car's bluetooth. Is anyone else having that problem? I can't figure it out. All the other phones work with my car. Lexus 2007.
Any suggestions?

Folk bought Samsung because of removable battery,sd slot and originally FM Radio and AMOLED screens. I with they would get back to S2 standards with RGB matrix screen,music player,fm radio they sort of started loosing it after that. To me the S5 was horrible cheap edging that chipped off and had some horrible grey composite material underneath and S6 is too roundish for me as well as other complaints. Judging by photos it looks like S7 going to be same old thing.

I have had this phone for six months now, and it is without a doubt the worst smartphone purchase I have ever made. Before the S6, I owned iPhones (3-5), which were fine products, but my wife purchased a Galaxy S5 and I really liked its performance and the ability to remove and replace the battery and memory to it. I really had hoped that when I upgraded from iPhone 5 to a Galaxy S6 with my provider that it would be an improved product. Well, that has not been the case. The battery life is terrible. I have uninstalled and disabled virtually everything I can (including the bloatware from the provider), outside of the bare minimum, factory reset the phone three times, burned through two S6s (after my first had this problem, to which my provider pretended never to have heard of this issue at all and gave me a new S6), and the battery drainage is never ending (I turn off all notifications and background data usage). It just keeps draining. Of course, come to find out, the fine people at Samsung decided to give us a smaller battery on the S6. It shows. That makes this a non-recommended product just for that. I have to keep this phone on a charger at almost all times. I have gone from 100% down to 10% back up to 100%, and then back down to 10% in a single day (depending on my access to a charger at work). There is no excuse for this. The battery alone makes it an inferior product.
Second, before the S6, what made Galaxy products so interesting, to me, was the fact they had (unlike iPhones) removable battery and SD memory card capabilities. The S6 does not have those. So, you receive a smaller, overheated, dying battery, which you need to constantly charge, but not way to replace it. To say this is a trap would be putting it kindly. Like a fool, when I bought this product, I assumed it would have the removable battery and SD card slot, like my wife's S5 (and every previous Galaxy product). I cannot understate what a disappointment this is to me (next to its terrible battery life). If you have a Galaxy S5, do yourself a favor and keep it.
The only attribute this phone has going for it, and it is its one nice feature, is the camera. It is 16 megapixels, and it takes wonderful pictures. So, if you like having a really good camera with no battery life, no memory or battery removal capabilities, have to minimize virtually all of your internet activities so they don't drain what little of your disappearing battery life you have left, and is just a worse version of the iPhone, well, the Galaxy S6 is for you.
In short, I will never purchase another Samsung phone ever again after this. It is a fraud. I have seriously considered just paying the remaining cost on the phone, blowing it up (so my provider does not recycle it and rip off another unsuspecting customer), deserting my provider altogether, and dishing out the money for a Nexus 5, but I will have to wait another year before that. Until then, happy charging.

Phone with good general characteristics. With the high price there are other features that surprise by their absence. No FM Radio, No option external memory card. Short battery capacity. No offers upgrade to Android Marshmallow. Huawei offers more for less money.

I have been a Galaxy fan since the S-3, The one thing that always set it apart from the I-phone was the replaceable battery and Micro SD slot. I did not upgrade to the S6 because they took away two key features I look for in a phone. I love the features on the S6 but Samsung has lost my business. Hopefully they will wake up before they loose too much of their market share. Why try to make a better I-phone when you had a superior product? I hope they fired the moron who came up with the idea to loose the Micro SD slot!

Love the Samsung s6, however agree it is absolutely crazy they didn't put a SD card slot into this device, but if you really need that much memory when you should never keep that many photos or videos on it before transferring to a safe location like a computer or DVD storage or external device then you have too many apps and need to get a life. Deal with all phones on a regular basis and all around Samsung is a better more reliable product then all others

Galaxy S6 will remain supreme over many of the new phones coming out, and this includes over most Iphones. But with the New release of the LG V10 all companies are making a run for their money as the Cell phone industry grows stronger and pushes harder towards VR or (Virtual Reality)!
