samsung xut soecs out of s6 because they want more profit.
note 4 much better value

LOL who cares. I replace my phone every 1-2 years. Ive switched from Apple to Android and back to Apple etc etc. Current phone is a HTC one. Brilliant phone and it shit's anything else for sound from front facing speakers. Having said that I'm seriously looking at the Galaxy S6. I like the iPhone6 but they are pricing themselves out of the market. Not only are the phones expensive their plans are also as expensive. For the same price in AUSTRALIA I can get the S6 with double the data allowance then than iPhone6 and with more internal memory. Apple really need to piss off that 16GB version.

I... morePrivacy is even lower on IOS since you aren't given all those settings to modify, meaning more is happening in IOS background that you won't ever know (if you ever heard about Apple's walled garden). On Android, it's a bit different, since you are given settings here and there but still as you noticed this can be tricky and let's not talk about google apps updates which reset sometimes its settings by introducing new ones (or permissions getting added), that's ..
Just remember that nowadays, our smartphones are made in order not only to please us but to extract the most information possible too.

Let's make things a bit clear for people looking for a new phone. My opinions
Sony z3 = best battery, water resistant.
HTC one m9 = best speakers
iPhone 6 = best OS
Samsung s6 = best hardware
LG G4 = removable battery, expandable storage
Nexus 6 = best android experience, faster updates
Note 4 = best device to work with (emails, spreadsheets)
Design, camera, gaming is pretty good on all the devices and each person could find a reason for each one.
I have not put them in any particular order and I'm not being biased towards any make. Please put your own opinions and why but don't be dissing any make because at the end of the day we are all customers that wants the best device for the price. Like I always say I'm loyal to my self not a manufacturer and it's good having the competition because it makes the company's work hard to compete and give us what we pay for.

- price is lower for about 250 to 300 usd (big deal)
- better battery life (bigger battery) - (big deal)
- better sound quality using headphone (big deal)
- stereo speaker (not a big deal)
- IP68 (big deal)
- dedicated camera button (not a big deal)
- bigger screen (not so much, not a big deal)
galaxy s6 over xperia z3
- better camera (not that much and not a big deal)
- better screen resolution (not a big deal)
- finger print scanner (not a big deal)
- lighter and slimmer, more compact (not a big deal)
- heart rate monitor (big deal)
- better looking phone (big deal)
- better processor and gpu (not a big deal)
- IR blaster (not a big deal)
for the price of less than 250 to 300 USD with very good battery, excellent sound quality, stereo speaker, IP68 certified, good looking phone, and very good camera, i will definitely go with the xperia z3
but if the price difference is around 100 USD, i might consider the galaxy s6

I have been using the Samsung S6 for almost a month now. It has been a excellent experience so far, as for as H/W concerned. Only thing I have to fight, compared to iPhone5S I had earlier, is the confusion created to Android and Google applications. Being privacy conscious, I am always worried about various ways, Google apps tries to steal all the information from phone. Even though there are settings to disable lot of these open doors, lot of it is hidden, complicated and differently worded in each place. Some of this get reset when you end up crashing the system and restart.
S6 is a great phone, much better than my previous one, as long as you don't care about the Google data issues. I wish, I can run iOS on this or some other OS, to escape from privacy concerns.

If you are... moreAgain what I said a bit ago the battery actually lasts longer on the Samsung so no truth in what you say look it up. Also if your bringing up battery why not Sony which has got 2 days. Or HTC one again stop being a salesman for a certain manufacturer they owe you nothing. It's up to him don't push because he might be stuck with a device he don't want for 2 years or more. Don't lie either Samsung has been making phones a lot longer then iPhone so don't make false claims because it just make you look more stupid.

If you are choosing S6 after one year you will definitely face lots of problem like copitability problem with the new OS version of Android and is the basic reason and problem with any Samsung Smartphone secondly battery drains very fast. These are the major issue and some minor problem you have to face like touch issue camera quality.

The problem is apple users will swear by the iPhone for the software and android users will go for the best hardware. It comes down to what's good to you after all you are the one that will be using it. What I did was look on YouTube and watched lots of reviews. Also I went in stores and played around with the phones. I nearly purchased the iPhone 6 but I have the 5s which is still a top performer and the ip6 didn't seem to much different to what I already had other than a larger screen with a slightly better camera. Then I moved towards the HTC m9 but again seemed to much like what was already out there in previous models. Then I had a look at the s6 edge and had a play with it and it stood out from the rest. I'm no Samsung loyalists because I had a Samsung s4 in the past and found the build and the software annoying and jumped straight to the iPhone 5s when it was released. My wife stuck to Samsung and got the s5 which is basically another s4 with a better processor. I have also got a Sony z3 compact which is good but I wasn't fully satisfied. I like to have better so ended up with my s6 edge. My choice my phone.

From the specs sheet the phone looks promising, other than the non-removable battery, but I can live with that like I did with my old Moto E. Unfortunately I have not had a chance to experience it yet.
