Anonymous, 18 Apr 2015Do it. I just upgraded from a Note 3 and I absolutely love it. Note 5 would have been a better option since it's going to be made with all the features of S6 and even better with a probable bump in screen size to 5.9inches if all the rumors are true.

Anonymous, 18 Apr 2015Do it. I just upgraded from a Note 3 and I absolutely love it. Are you sure you will be able to cope with the reduction in screen size from a 5.7inch Note 3 to a 5.1inch S6. When I bought the S5 for my wife it was such a massive screen to me as then I was using iPhone 5. I have however been using iPhone 6 plus a 5.5inch screen for some months now and anytime I hold my wife's S5 that used to be so big , now I always feel like it's too small now.

... moreDear 1701 i am well aware of XDA but the fact is that when samsung trims down the touchwiz,i expect the device to perform better!
it's disappointing to see a device almost at the price of a laptop who claims to have a polished interface and a cutting edge processor perform worst than it's predecessors!
i mean user experience wise, way worst than NOTE 4 and even S5! not to mention the trade off's(battery and SD card), even water proofing. not to mention the premium that i paid for 64GB!
honestly i'm losing my faith in samsung!
IMHO samsung has to learn making a good cellphone s not cramping as much power and you can get in a slab!
very DISAPPOINTED!
P.S. I AM NOT A FAN OF ANY BRAND! NOR A TROLL! A VERY DISSATISFIED LOYAL CUSTOMER!

samsung must boost up batteries power...android is battery consuming..so it should be of at least 3500 mah or above

In my country too the phones start at $1049 for 32GB and upto $1500 for 64GB Edge variant. We don't even get the 128GB choicein either phone here bro! But like all Samsung products it's price will fall in the next two months around the world as rumours of the Note 5 start popping up. I always regret buying android phones when they just come out and this time I'm holding out. Even though that phone is super sexy!

go to WiFi setting and unmark Smart network switch, and thats done.
If the option couldn't be unmarked, then you need to activate Data to uncheck it and turn data off.

hey guys n gals of GSMarena, i have a rather odd problem and question.
i'm one of the lucky ones who got the S6 on April 10th but much to my surprise the widgets on S6 and lollipop are kinda sluggish, for instance the samsung music player's widget's song list scrolls sluggish and with stutter unlike my S5 and note 4!
also other widgets like my mint app's widgets transaction list, and so on!
it's sort of annoying to see have that issue specially when u expect S6 with lollipop and samsung's presumably fast exynos octacore processor!
any hints?

AnonD-373771, 18 Apr 2015I did find this seems cell standby is the reason for batter... moreThat update with finally the "bugfix lollipop update" for S5 lollipop seems already to have an effect on my battery : i didn't loose any % in 4hours whereas since LP i was randomly loosing 2-8% even without touching the phone.
So i do think on S6 it's also a matter of bugfixing too for those experiencing battery draining.
