And what about htc, Xiaomi, Huawei, ZTE, Asus, LG etc..? They don't provide water resistance as their n°1 selling point (if present), only Sony since the Z series. So there's no must, but it's more a feature which was reserved to Active series for Samsung and which is getting back to it for S6 it seems.
As an owner of a S5 since release, mine has seen even less rain drops than all my previous galaxy S, so your sentence about deep regret seems a bit strong, no?

I think Wazza G just wants his critic to be the only one truth, that's typically trolling since he spent a good 2/3 pages to repeat the same thing.

let me turn it around for... moreYou do have some good points. But it's not like we are going to drop the phone in water every time. I don't see why you care about IP67 rating so much.
Not including one feature, doesn't mean Samsung failed us as customer and we should regret buying it. There are more to a phone than IP67 rating.
However if you want IP67 rating, there is S6 active version, so you can always buy that.

did any of the GS2, GS3 had the same processing power as GS5? NO, did they have the same advance display as GS5 or GS6? NO,
the point is technology moved on, now days water proofing is a MUST,
let me give you an example...
it would be like driving top class Ferrari in the rain and you have NO ROOF, no means of NOT getting wet, you basically soak yourself till you die...
what is the point?
you still don't understand the whole world of mobile phone innovation gone to another level since GS3, GS4, now days WATER PROOFING is the MUST
and Samsung failed and in fact it has failed you as a customer, whoever is sadly be stupid enough to buy this will live to regret it.

Also I don't why wazza doesn't even bother to read?
I did clearly say that , I was asked this question by my carrier, since I did use both S4 and S5. They said they wanted to know how many people used micro-sd card. Also I did ask my local electronics store and they did found that number of micro-sd cards were very low.
Are you talking about battery life from French website or camera?

soon after release you will what water can do to this expensive phone, and after that damage the phone is just good for the BIN, YES, exactly how Samsung planned it for you. no guarantee on water proofing, and 10000000 of phone gets damage without Samsung being hold responsible.
watch out for the water test after 11th April when this phone be release, however I already know the result.
Samsung made a big mistake by not offering water proofing for this phone, big big mistake.
I will not touch this phone at this price if I can't protect it against a simple splashes of water.
time will tell you how much facts this is, just wait few weeks.

And i'm quite confident about S6's battery.
I just did a 30min timelapse 1080p video on 2 of my phones : Galaxy Alpha (1800mA battery / Exynos cpu) and ZTE Blade S6 ( 2400mA / SD615 cpu),
started both phones at 100% charge in airplane mode, after the recording, i found this surprisingly :
9% have been used on the Galaxy Alpha.
24% have been used on the ZTE Blade S6.
Shocking difference.

If you think you need more clarification, please read m86k's comment. Please stop asking the same question when two people already answered your question.
Asking same question without checking the solid and valid facts provided, just proves that you don't even look at what others post.
If you still need clarification on the 100% valid facts I would say please do read my comment again.

Also don't forget that snapdragon 810 has performance issues. Yes it's expensive but then it's a flagship, and response has been positive so far. Also let's not mention that Pre-orders are going through the roof.

Its all a Fluke, of Fate that clicks and model is success. Lets see Exynos and Mali wud excel, or accordingly past choice by Sammy snapdragon was always fr northern world, ad Exynos for southern world.
Price announced is more than iPhone, lets see how people would react, I bet they would hold till it drops half. IPhone only models prices keep static, That's charm
