I recon that Sony was in the time a major manufacturer of electronic appliances (i've known MD, walkman, discman, and you?). But that time is over for years.
I'm not a Samsung fanboy, i'm just being realistic. Sony is closer to end its mobile division as previous news said than Samsung whatever your thinking.
Now about deceiving people with tantalizing products whatever. What are you? a kid ? So each time you come across a nice unknown lady in the street you get deceived ?
And latest news on GSMA won't deceive you then ?

Samsung's latest phone sports a battery that's almost 10% smaller than its predecessor. That's unusual for the Korean mobile giant, as Samsung had previously made it a point to increase the battery capacity for each of its prior Galaxy handsets.
Three-quarters of adults (73%) preferred a thicker phone with a larger battery. In contrast, only 12% preferred a thinner phone with lesser battery life.
Galaxy S5 is certainly thicker than Apple's iPhone 6 (a 1.2mm difference) it's far from unwieldy. In chasing Apple's design, Samsung may have sacrificed one of its greatest selling points.

Wow, S6 really do give big impact to Apple, now they want to make waterproof, then I'll guess S7 gonna bring something new or keep the real identity have microsd card, removable battery and add something new like thin, glass, metal, fast charging and other stuff~ who knew what in they think in the future

Samsung might have made huge profits by their advertising policies. However, Sony have never tried to deceive people by making tantalizing products. As far as my memory helps Sony has been called the God of Appliances and the God if Quality all around the world. As well as this Sony always have been a precursor not an emulator and there have been a lot of innovation by Sony such as the first commercial TV sets, HiFi, Blueray and etc.
Regarding your statement concerning financial fiasco, I think I would say that, Samsung phone section made a huge loss because of their flagships. Could you evaluate the LOSS please. This is not a matter of the numbers of sold phones. This is a matter of description for loss and for Samsung they did not reached their least profits that is needed for a company to be able to continue.

That's because the die size is going to remain the same, which means the only way of increasing the performance is to pack more transistors, besides moving to small transistor size increases power efficiency.
Now about Octa-Cores, i know that everybody makes Octa-Cores but that doesn't mean that AMD's Octa-Core is as powerful as Intel's Octa-Core.
Now onto Exynox 7000 lineup, the Exynos 7420 is the first SOC of 7 series so i don't know how you are saying it has a poor performance history.

2k resolution is really not necessary..it will bring down the phone performance and battery life..its not even noticeable..im glad that htc stick with FHD..s6 is totally out from my next phones list..

So now it seems like Apple is looking at making their phones water proof as per report on GSMArena...
Now this is what I am saying about Samsung adopting the wrong strategy for their flagships like the S6.
The S5 was IP certified has Removable battery & SD card ....
Samsung removes 3 of their most sailable features that differentiate them and make them better than apple just to produce a phone that looks like apple that too 4 years after apple has done that... what a shame
Last time Samsung shook up the team at their mobile division ... apparently not enough ... JK Shin who is responsible seems to be on the wrong strategic path ....
sales forecasts of 20 million are a factor of pent up demand that takes place due to delay in purchase hoping to get something better and when you don't you get stuck to buying what is on offer or exuberance after a new launch or push from the sami sales team.
Samsung may need to shake up the team some more till they get their strategy right

These what made or make Samsung / android great .... other wise the differentiation with apple will narrow and eventually Samsung will have no redeeming differences and will come out the looser.
