Recently I had a weird experience with my galaxy note 4. I have been using my note 4 since it released. No problems, no lags, no hanging....everything is running perfect up to date, touchwood!!....

Now 2-3 days back I update youtube app and there was a bug in that app which make the phone totally freezed up....I get it know later when I faced it. While watching videos my phone suddenly freezed up. I tried everything to restart my phone, I have long pressed the power button also but nothing was working. The only thing which resolved this situation was removing the battery. Then I suddenly uninstalled that youtube updates.

Now, if this thing happened with S6 what will be done to solve it??....Definitely we have to wait for battery to get empty and phone turns off automatically.

    Think upon it!!

Some people are thinking like they need their whole data/collection in same time just right now. Or to backup all at once in same time everyday...

That's really smart while proning external storage.

mojooey, 08 Mar 2015have you heard about google cloud..... same thing like iClo... moreUploading and downloading 32Gb of data in my phone to the "cloud" ? So slow, expensive and if i don't have access to internet...a memory card is so simple and cheap...
From my point of view the best solution is to make regular backups of the files in the phone on a memory stick using Usb-otg. Which must be done anyway because SD cards can fail too.

The both edges of this phone should have done completely round instead of little cut . The round edge was not apple's design but Samsung 3 years ago used that in galaxy note 2.

Enjoy your metal body, without IP67 protection, non expandable storage, smaller and non removable battery S5 user here, and I'm sticking with it because I have no more $$ to buy HTC M9. S5 is my last samsung device. Bye bye :P

Be or not to be, 07 Mar 2015I can see your point however you forgot to say that Samsung... moreI have no clue about where you took your information, but you should be more careful about your source before saying anything.

For what concern both competing companies, here is the real information:

"Samsung Electronics, the world’s largest smartphone maker, grew sales by 17% in 2013 to nearly $209 billion — a record for the South Korean company. Samsung brought in over $27 billion in profit last year, but recently it has struggled as its Galaxy devices have come under pressure from Apple’s iPhone and cheaper Chinese device-makers. CEO Oh-Hyun Kwon hopes to continue the record-high revenues by expanding Samsung’s medical and health, business-to-business and smart home units."

"Apple, the maker of the globally popular iPhone and iPad devices, posted sales of almost $171 billion in 2013, 9% higher than the prior year. But the company has come under pressure in the competitive smartphone business, and its profit shrank 11% to $37 billion from 2012 to 2013. Even so, Apple has a huge amount of cash on hand, and CEO Tim Cook recently deployed some of that cash pile by announcing $30 billion in stock buybacks."

So for your concern about financial performance of Samsung sales linked with there smartphones, you should see that it's not as bad as Apple. But you didn't mentioned Apple sales performances, because then you would have no more points to defend.

For the possibility of bankruptcy by Samsung that you fear, I will assure you that it won't happen in this decade, at least. Just to explain my point: Samsung net profit in 2013 report was $20.6 billion (while Apple register $41.7 billion) and over $27.2 billion (while Apple profit went down 11.3% at $37 billion) for 2014 report. 2015 will be release soon.

So not only I wouldn't be scared for Samsung if I was you, but I wouldn't worry for Apple as well, as both are registering huge profits year after year and they both have very highly skilled Head executives.

If you're really neutral as I am, you will notice that both companies got their respective sales stressed by the emerging smartphone companies that get in the race lately.

Those companies are emerging as they sell good looking smartphones that most of the time are just low quality copy or strangely similar to the main smartphones that lead the market. Those companies are aiming at first to the peoples from emerging countries as well as for the poor peoples from developed countries. They only way it can become a more serious factor, is to see in the next few years, how many of them will pass from the low end smartphones market, to the mid an/or high end market.

Earlier iPhone is better than Samsung when its come to design. but now Samsung galaxy s6 is far more beautiful than iPhone. And Samsung is better than iPhone when it comes to features like water proof , ir blaster and extendable memory. But now some of those feature is missing. when its comes to Samsung galaxy s6. I think Samsung need to improve. Water proof and extendable memory feature are feature that made Samsung better than iPhone. think about it....

In the instruction manual for the Galaxy S6, Samsung offers instructions for removing the device’s battery but warns that this should only be attempted by “your service provider or an authorized repair agent.” If you try to remove the battery yourself and you severely damage your phone, it will not be covered by your warranty.

So if you’re willing to take that risk, here are Samsung’s instructions for how you remove the battery:

Remove the SIM card tray from the device before starting battery removal
                                    Remove the back cover
Loosen and remove the screws that line the perimeter of the device
                                    Remove the circuit board
                                    Disconnect the battery connector
                                    Remove the battery

Hey Guys! Why do all of you worry about the Non SD Card Slot & Non Removable Battery of 2600 & 2550 mAh...??? So far you all were complaining about the Design of Galaxy S Series...Now Samsung has come with Great Designs with 3GB LPDDR4 RAM & 32/64/128GB Internal Memory Versions. At least you have to understand that Iphone doesn't have the same specifications what S6 doesn't have. Iphone doesn't have SD Card Slot and it has Non Removable Battery. Even though Iphone did a "Great Job in Selling their phones Worldwide". More over, S6 has lots of "Great Features Very Much Better than Iphone"! Camera, Design, Processor, Display, and All...better you realise the Truth and Forget about the Past, Samsung does know better then us!

Last month my Samsung Mega died on me for no reason, and the main board had to be changed.
I took out the SD card and put 32 Gb of important files in my new phone in 5 seconds without losing a single data....How do you do that when your 800$ S6 dies because it falls in the swimming pool... ? Please tell me...
