Samsung said majority of people didn´t use the SD slot - and they know, they collect usage data from the phones and do surveys. Only technically inclined people use it (like me). But everyone wants simplicity and no file and app transfers between SD and internal memory including you I believe. So let´s just be happy they have 128 GB version - you don´t need SD on that and finally enough of those tranfers to SD after every activity!

no waterproof ? I will wait for s7 ...this is not a good smartphone, s5 is better than this...s6 is replic for iPhone 6

m86k, 04 Mar 2015Here's an interesting list of flagships with non removable ... moreand there a list of phones i've never owned :) as for apple people only get apple because of the status the after a while realize you cant do what other phoned do but by then they have all the add on to there cat , stereo etc and are hard to leave because you integrated your phone into your life but i know loads who have left.

wow this is purely iPhone 6's cousin! Non removable battery, sim slot, side curves, headphone jack n speaker holes, protruding cam, No memory card slot

I consider Samsung as the true leader in Smartphone technology, i like that it pushes boundaries with each new flagships every year. With Galaxy S6 they have proved that they can manufacture all critical components in-house such as Processor, Chipset, RAM and NAND Flash.
I also feel like GSM Arena now specifically needs to mention the following thing in their specifications now:
-64 bit processor
-LPDDR4 RAM
-UFS 2.0 Storage
-f1.9 Camera

They voted with the $$ and from the looks of it they will be again and unless LG messes up, they look the be the only game in town.

UFS 2.0 may be fast and Samsung may offer a 128GB model. However my carrier probably won't offer it. They only ever offered the 16GB version of the S5, so I have no confidence they will offer the 64 yet again the 128GB version. Also 128GB SD cards are cheep. The premium to have a 128GB built in is too high.

I'm so mad the dropped the SD card and removable battery!!!! M9 had the SD card but is still at 1080p so not really an upgrade IMO. So I guess I have to wait for the LG G4 and see if the mess things up. Trouble is i mostly read about problems on the LG so that's not good. Samsung, why, o why did you make such a stupid decision!!!!!!,

quite good they removed the sd slot....no point with micro sc now days.....dosnt stand much longer....prefer with internal storage like iphone.....bigger is better ........hard to crash rather keep everything in sd and suddenly lost due to corrupted file or else.......cant wait to have this one in my pocket.........

And maybe future fake Galaxy S6 too.

A micro SD for what when the internal memory is more than enough.The fixed battery guards against unscrupulous dealers out for mischief.
