Having a removable battery is to protect ourselves. Imagine you bring your power draining S6 to service center, especially those with service personnel who can open up the phone on the spot in front of you to prove that the battery is bloated or faulty. If not, they can just say that the battery is bloated and need to be changed and you can't witness it. FYI, the new S6 and S6 edge has not screws visible on the exterior, I doubt they will open up in front of customers at the service center unless they have special tools for it. I will wait for this scenario first before buying.

Project zero .. yes true .. if you dont have a internet connection Galaxy S6 = zero , no radio , no cloud services .. galaxy is becoming more dependent to internet step by step. micro sd still an essential feature. and fm radio too

Benchmark scored are a kind of marketing!
Samsung used benchmark scores to promote its galaxy lineups
But, benchmark scores are merely" on_paper number"
It has nothing to do with performance and speed
For eg, iPhone and Z3 benchmark score are less than galaxy Alpha But Sony & Apple smartphones are fast and has excellent performances in real user experience
So, benchmark scores app are only app standard and only gimmick

So disappointed in the GS6. Working with cell phones I know what a pain it is not to have a removable battery. I always recommend against phones like that. And the removable memory card no longer begging part of the phone is another major turn off for me. I like being able to take pictures and go to the photo kiosk in Walmart to print them off. Guess I will be going with the note 4 if I want a new phone and pray that with the GS7 they bring back the things that made me get a galaxy and not an iPhone.

After years of tipping the scales of the market away from Apple by providing superior value and functionality, not to mention SD card support and a removable battery, you've managed to upgrade your phone to an iPhone - and not just any iPhone - the older, uselessly fragile glass-backed variety. Now that you've become the very thing your customers were avoiding, we'll see who steps up to compete with your Samsung iPhone and positions themselves to fill the huge gap you've introduced. Prepare yourselves for a tremendous market share loss and a tragic loss of consumer base due to this debacle of a phone. You have made an unrecoverable mistake here Samsung - please rectify these mistakes with the Galaxy Note 5 and the Galaxy S7.

Samsung s6 no sd card space is acceptable but nonremoveable battery will big problem bcos Samsung battery is not that gud like iphone battery which maintain same power after 2-3 years.Samsung battery get tired and get 25% damage after 1 year.then it will hard to change the battery after 1 year...so i will say bye bye to Samsung before its cuming....

Lol. Anyone who says that this phone won't sell is a joker. So many phones have non removable batteries these days. It's not a deal breaker. I use the S4 and I can't recall removing my battery in months. Secondly, SD cards are mostly slower to copy files to than the regular phone memory. So I'd rather have 32gb internal memory than have 16gb internal and a 64gb SD card. Thirdly, I don't care if anyone says that Samsung copied Apple. They probably did, but that's for their lawyers to fight over. This is the most beautiful galaxy phone ever produced and that Gold platinum is to die for... Not to mention the killer specs. Good job Samsung. I will certainly buy this.

If I wanted to have a phone without SD card, I would go for iPhone.
The best adavantage of Android over ios is the SD Card and now samsung removed it!
What a shame for samsung!
Some said that there is no need for more than 128 GB space on a phone. Those that say this r definitely not a gamer! A GAMER needs more than 128.

wow what a drop galaxy supposed to be had a iphone well duh dropped lower than iPhone esta operating a big downgrade you take the memory out you can change your battery and not a water resistant that's a lot of galaxy for me from hero to zero

Is the UFS 2.0 going to help me when the phone dies out of nowhere like my Note 2 did a few days ago in the middle of a road trip just when I neeeded it the most to use the GPS? Only positive thing is that I had all my photos stored in the micro SD. It will probably need a new mainboard so I probably lost a ton of other docs/photos/pictures that where in the internal storage.
The non-removable battery is something I can live with, just hope it never freezes, but no micro SD is a deal breaker to me.

drop box gives you 50GB of memory for free if you bother to spend only 5 minutes to answer and follow 5-6 questions , I have done that and I have 50GB. Drive with google account gives you 15GB for free and soon if you are a drop box user Drive as a competition will give you 100GB to for two years.
beside you can always transfer data to USB stand alone from time to times, how much memeory have you used ACTIVELY on your last phone? more than 100GB? I bet not. and samsung 64GB pluse many other options above is more tha enough.
so get out of your stupid cave look around you and at least understand why SD SLOTS are things of the PAST and why you should even be grateful to samsung to make you realise of this fact and make you try a safer and more vibrant way of data storage and sharing rather than stupid SD SLOT.
so please don't talk rubbish

People complaining about the S6 specification is total bullshit i would say. If you guys wanted all those features in the flagship phone why didn't you go for S5 then? S5 would have been the best flagship phone in 2014. It had Micro SD, Removable Battery, IP67 and all the stuff you complain about S6. I own Samsung phone since the time i had my first phone and never had complains about the product. It's about innovation and bringing new opportunities for the users and that only Samsung can give to the consumers. The reason S6 is crafted in Metal is people complaining about plastic which i too felt wasn't good feel for the flagship phone and premium feeling when you hold. Alpha is the best example they invented the new A-Series in the line up. S6 can easily outsell the iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus. It's the 1st flagship phone in the market which has LPDDR4 Ram and Gorilla Glass on both the sides and the colors which they have chosen is perfect to attract all age users. That's the only reason Samsung grabbed a huge order from Apple and LG to manufacture LPDDR4 Ram for there upcoming flagship. About non removable battery they have the best 14nm FinFet processor 1st in the industry with more speed and less power consumption then Mediatek or Qualcomm 810. Don't forget the wireless charging and new Touchwiz UI which is just fast as Stock Android.
What's your opinion about this innovation criticizers?????

you have definitely lost me and i have bean a loyal customer since 2003 i waited so eagerly to see the new GS6 and to buy it but now .... o well :-(

yeah people are trolling hear. what!!! why using drop box?? what a s** called drop box they give u 2 GB storage and u have to renew service of 1TB monthly at 10$. may be rich people can do it with their super high quality internet and not poor people. and what u will say to me u must use google drive or one drive or whatever. i say what a 15 GB free space can do to ur stuff ? nothing of course. so people cant stop talking about fm radio because some situations arent let them use unternet to play radio. and now a new disaster. people must have internet to acces their stuff from servers (dropbox google drive))) unlike sd card u can acces them instantly. ww sont forget that cloud need internet that in some situation u have to loose some data charges.. w.r.t power bank i think if u have another battery is much comfortable to change it with drain one and u know using phone while charging on power bank isnt suitable to battery and slow the charging process. after all this iam against people that say now s6 is same as iphone w.r.t all things. of course removing sd catd and make batterry removable doeant mean s6 beccame an apple phone because s6 still an andeoid phone and still u can do with with it anything like s3 and s4 but now u have to use laptop more than before. s6 still an android phone with cuatomizable system and accept many roms and softwares. i will wait s7. but off course if my uncle gift me s6 i will accept it :)
