I turned my phone off today. When I turned it back on, it asked for my password instead of my fingerprint. It won't accept my password and I cannot get anyone to help me resolve this issue. You would think someone could resolve this. I actually have to retry at least 20 times before it will allow me to reset the password and that's at one hour intervals. Very poor service. Just plain GARBAGE!

Not only that I had really bad reception. I used the same phone company and same sum card on my rental grand prime and it works amazing. I went to drop off my phone for repair yesterday and they told me it's going to be minimum 2 weeks...goodbye samsung. I'm getting an iphone

Got phone on June 11, 2016. Camera does not work (Camera failed). Samsung wants nothing to do with me. Did phone reset,m nothing happened. Remember Samsung support is in the Philippines, and the do not understand English as much as they can not speak it. When my contract is up, phone goes right into the trash. First and last Samsung for me.

I have the G920F. There was a monthly update back in April (or it may have been May). The update was approximately 300MB in size so it definitely wasn't just the monthly security update.
Since that update I've noticed the haptics doesn't feel 'right' (the vibration when pressing the capacitive keys an example), and the ambient light sensor in my case is EXTREMELY sensitive. When I am outdoors I can see the backlight of the S6 flickering rapidly as it desperately tries to decide on the screen brightness levels. And this continues despite unticking the auto-brightness box, just not as intensively.
As I understand it the update in question was a 'maintenance update'. And if recent news is to be believed there is another maintenance update upcoming for the S6 shortly. I will definitely be reading reviews for that before updating.

My bbm icon has dissapeared from the top of my home screen. I dont get any notifications from the app and my bbm messages are delayed. How can i fix this problem? Please help me.

The next is the screen protector &or tempered glass, if any.
Next is the case. I did use the case with the front where the top is open (for date/time).
My later, i find the screen do have 2 tone, top and bottom different.
The top is darker than the bottom. Hence i decide not to use that case.
Lastly, the setting. Go to Setting --> Display.
The possibility are; Smart stay (also in Advanced features.); Screen mode; Keep screen turned off. Each may do play a part in the screen display. May include Wallpaper.
Try to play around those features to find which you prefer.

But shouldn't the screen, in a darkened room, go br... moreIt is counter intuitive, but the reason that the hone dims in low light and brightens in higher light is that instead of the surrounding light lighting up your screens display (like one would think), the screen of your phone actually reflects the light causing it to act like a mirror and sending the surrounding light back at you. To compensate for this increase of light being sent at you, your phone will make the display brighter. in low light settings, it doesn't need to be as bright via the same logic. Also in low light areas our eyes become accustomed to the low light and bright light tends to irritate our eyes. this is the other reason it is dimmed in low light settings.

Saved me the stupidity of pretending to need high priced stuff with one odd weird feature which I can live without anyway. This phone does not all and how and at what price.a winner all the way.
