I notice a lot of people having their phone turn "off".
If you have this problem. Check to see if your LED light on the front still flickers.
If so, ALL YOU NEED TO DO IS hold on to the POWER, VOLUME DOWN, and HOME BUTTON.
Whats going to happen is that your phone will show the intro screen as if you turned it on (But really its on the entire time) and then you're good.
The reason why this happens.. im not too sure, Its always been a problem on the S4. I never got the S5.
So no, theres nothing wrong with the phone, I am guessing the OS locks up and crashes for some reason.
This problem occurs with Iphones as well and works just the same.

Well after messing with it for a while it came back on. I pressed all three bottoms at the bottom anb the righttop side for about 10 seconds it came back on like when you first charge it so im happy its on but still not sure what happened that I had to do all that. Try it if yours is not responding correctly.

This galaxy s 6 SUCKS it after two weeks will not turn back on and this is the second time it has happened. It was not droped or anything of that nature. It was in my locker at work cause there are no phones allowed in the wor place. I used it to check bus scheduled before work and after work it would not turn back on. Im still in the process of paying a 199.00 deductible on the last time this happened. Now I dont know what AT&T will say after a second time. Why would they even sell this crap? Well I want some answers. Ill be dammed if I dont get some.

This is the second time it just cut off and wont come back o. I thought it was the battery but nothing still. I have insurance on it and they make me pay a two hundred dollar deductible. This is really not worth it. Im serious I did nothing to it no drops no bumps nothing but it will no come back on. Ive lost everything on it twice now and I wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy!!! If your thinking about it STOP!!!!!! Donot do it. I promise it is nothing but trouble......

I bought the S6active and this is the third time it just turned off and wouldn't turn back on even after plugging it up to a charger ......

Love the phone but it is not shock proof! getting thru to Samsung (and apparently there is no customer service available in the UNITED STATES) and trying to make them understand the problem is like pulling teeth! My screen broke after a very short drop on a wood floor and the screen shattered! Samsung will replace the screen for a fee of course. The phone is advertised as nearly indestructible...I believe I have an inferior built phone!

Is anyone else having issues with vibrate on phone calls?? When I get a call my phone won't vibrate so my options are to either have it on silent or have the ringer all the way up. Vibration works for text messages and everything else just not phone calls. It used to vibrate when got a call. No, I haven't dropped it and yes, I've checked all settings... Can anyone help me?? This is serious issue. I miss a lot of calls because I can't always have my ringer on...

I am using this on T-Mobile, and have not had anyone mention any problems with my speakerphone, but will keep this in mind for the future.

Hide all. Or disable notifications. I hide it.. it still shows the sender or what app the notification is coming from but can't read it till unlocked
