i have the g928a- i must say its awesome. however i live in the caribbean and i want to update to 6.0 or even 7.. but when i go to 'about phone' it says software is up to date. i am stuck with 5.1.1 with a build number g92aucu2a0ji.. can someone help me to update my phone to the latest software????

Has anyone got Nougat update for T-mobile unlocked S6 edge plus?? M still waiting for the update. Its annoying other cariers updated but not by T-Mobile..

well this is a very good phone ,but for some reason the screen went white on me red blue type spots in it >went to sight >they tried to help didn't work..so looks like I have to bring it in...

One of the best smartphones you can buy. It's display is amazing and large enough to be easily used on daily basis. Personally, I find the curved display very unique and its differentiation factor from other devices. The CPU and GPU are powerful enough to take on any task that is given to it. I have played several graphics intensive games on the phone and neither its back panel heats up nor it lags.
Overall, its the best phone I have ever used!

Well, almost 2 years after the release S6 edge Plus still looks like undisputed champion in terms of design, usability, hardware and future proof abilities...if it only has IP68 and memory slot...!!
Really disappointed with the S8 disproportionate desigh, one colour option for the front, complete lack of hardware innovations...yes, infinity display, with weird, useless ratio with implementing the nav buttons into it, actually decreases the viewing area afterall...they created minimal industrial design, witch personally lacks style and reminds me of cheap Chinese siblings...

ibay sigfredo "fred", 29 Mar 2017the samsung phone i bought last year was galaxy s6 edge plu... moreofc all smartphones has motherboards preferably the chipsets... I believe the Samsung S6 Edge+ has 2 chipsets being manufactured... one with Exynos 7420 Octa as mentioned on this specsheet or the SD 810 which is by far as I know has heating issues. But srsly... 14k php is a seriously high price to have the phone fixed.

the samsung phone i bought last year was galaxy s6 edge plus right now when i update the os the phone suddenly black out and when every time i charge the phone always hot like it will explode. when i went to the samsung service center in SM north cyberzone Philippines for check up the technician said the mother board was crash and charge me fourteen thousand pesos for replacement. i'll just buy a different brand for fourteen thousand. and is android os phone has mother board?

AnonD-648777, 28 Feb 2017It's Really good phone I have ever Used so Far..No issues w... morei used my s6 edge+ gold platinum since november 2015. i liked the phone, strong performance over all. I just got my s7 edge onyx black this march. I have to say the only thing better in s6 edge+ against s7 edge is the screen size (5.7 vs 5.5) if you like having bigger screen. But overall, the s7 edge is way better than my old s6 edge+, the addition of micro sd card slot, waterproof and dustproofing, bigger battery size, faster processor, faster gpu, better camera and autofocus, aod support, etc.
