AnonD-427833, 10 Aug 2015Im planning to get the S6 edge very soon but i've seen many... moreOnce again, battery life is absolutely normal given the power of the phone and its screen resolution.
A less powerful phone may last more depending of usage. But the more power hungry apps you run, the faster you will empty your battery, like any powerful phone with no exception.
Games, 4K recording/Playing, Slow motion recording, wireless transferts, screen permanently on... All of that will accelerate battery depletion.
Now, for myself, i got an average of 2 days on a same charge with my phone, with data always on, taking a few pictures, having calls/texts/whatsapp, bluetooth on during day and receiving emails from my various accounts. Like any phone, it's all about knowing your device.
Some people will say that their Sony Z3 has a weak battery whereas they keep playing games on it, hopefully this will help you.

solly78, 09 Aug 2015question, if i set the alarm and turned off the phone will ... moreNothing to do with S6, it is Android. If you turn off the phone the alarm won't work. The solution is to set your phone to flight mode: no battery usage and no call disturbance.

i have not got the battery improvement update yet ..... Anyone any idea???? Yesterday got an update of 655 MB. Is this the one? But my s6 edge battery has not improved.

People complaining this phone is too expensive are probably from poor third world country. They keep complaining there is no sd slot or removable battery. They barely have 4g network and even dare to say so many things about GS6 edge. They don't understand benefit of cloud storage and wireless charging. If you can't afford it or make it work with your environment then don't buy it.

question, if i set the alarm and turned off the phone will the alarm still goes on. i dont like to keep my phone on over night..and in my previous S3 this was a problem for me as i had to keep the phone on if i want the alarm to work.:s
is it solved in 6 Edge ?

I buy 64Gb in gold very good phone now I am on the right road of smart phone world with my galaxy s6 edge and wont go back on iPhone again

Really love this phone thats an awsome phone it does'nt lags ......... but there is one thing which i dont like is briefing it is'nt responsive ........... but otherwise its great

what a phone .truly fantastic display..do not belive in apple shi* on human eyes and retina stuff...it blows iphone miles away..if u have the money dont setlle for any other garbage phone..u use it once u will never go back to all those bakwas motorolas, iphones etc
