can any one share his experience about the battery performance of S6 Edge? Does it last at least a full day with heavy use and how much time does it take for a full charge?

I forgot to mention that i received a call for 40mins with most of it on speaker max volume (which is loud and has a good quality by the way). I lost 3% on battery. I'm on LTE networks (with drop to 3G when having a call). Battery draining seems normal, i didn't loose a single % while watching TV for 1hr and i have already most of my apps installed.

For those concerned about heating, the phone does heat yes. It's normal, it's a fast cpu in a thin metal/glass body. But it heats really in intensive operations like fastly installing all apps from playstore in LTE like i did, or gaming or recording in 4K. Nevertheless, it heats less than some other phones i have owned (like S3 or G3 for example or most of metal phones). In normal operations (calls included) i don't feel anything.

Back to UI, the phone feels generally smooth, "smooth like 60fps" in most of tasks. I noticed a very minor hiccup ONCE when scrolling back to 1st full page of app drawer, but that's the only time i saw something.
UI is full of nice quick animations/transitions even for simply deleting a file from the file explorer when you pay attention. New flipboard/my magazine implantation is lovely (most left page of launcher).
Note that we lost TripAdvisor automatic lockscreen wallpaper, but it got replaced by Yahoo's weather lockscreen wallpaper.

Turning camera on is blazing fast, same as taking a photo which popups instantly (i made a MMS and choosed camera, this is really speedy compared to a S5 which was quite capabable in same task). I won't detail camera but options are "S5-like" with a few more and you can still download from Galaxy App store missing camera modes.

For fingerprints, i applied some protector films both on front and rear glasses. The front one is the hardest due to the curves, not many of good quality and covering whole screen are sold currently. So i placed an order on zagg's invisibleshield in same time to get a proper front scratches protection.

Battery topic, since i just noticed a post mentionning it again : it's on par with S5 for now, maybe a little less, i don't know yet because i don't have enough time behind me using the phone but
there's a problem with the new touchwiz settings :

you don't have same details as before.

For example, among the 3 location settings, it's not mentionned anymore that "networks only" is the most power efficient mode. So i can safely bet many are just letting that option by default on the highest precision setting.
Also, when you turn on the phone for the first time, brightness is not in auto mode but manual+max..
There's only a power saving switch now, there are no more individual details like "reducing cpu freq" or "brightness" or the 3rd one..

And that lack of details, you can find it in many parts of touchwiz now due to all TW whiners... That's a negative point for me, maybe a positive for others. The phone doesn't feel customisable as much as S3/4/5.
Another example, there's no keys backlighting duration anymore or disabling LED for low battery etc..

Alright, here are my first opinions about my S6 Edge finally received. I'll keep on reporting for the next few days each time i'll test something new on it.

I got the gold platinum in 64gb capacity. This phone is visually impressive. It's hands down the best looking phone so far from front and any side.

I want to mention that rear camera's bump is really small in real because i remember there have been much exageration about it. It's comparable to S5 or Alpha for example but it looks even smaller. I can't measure it since it's that small.

Screen is bright, crisp and offers good colors. Although to be honest, after spending a few hours messing with the phone menus, i think its firmware (i have the latest 5.0.2 from end of April) isn't mature yet compared to phones like S5 or Alpha : i'm using adaptative mode as display setting, meaning it automatically adjusts to contents displayed. On a same app on both my S5 and S6 next to each other with same display setting, i could see the S6 switching slightly sometimes between cold colors temperature and warm (S5 was staying on the cold side in same time). Display algorythmn is not complete i guess.
(It was in the dark so nothing could be misleading me being reflections or autobrightness, etc..)
That's the only (slight) negative point i have noticed.
Else, there's nothing such as glare of the curves or difficulties to handle the phone that we can read in quick anonymous comments : i just handle it like any other phone. When i watch carefully how i take the phone in my palm, i see my hand doesn't touch the screen, but the sides with a bit of glass (since they are halved) like on other phones. Samsung really studied well the max size of the screen. People having problems with it are maybe having their hands touching their normal's phone screen or not used to "thin" phones. The phone is thin and tight, makes it even sexier.
Lenght of slopes is small, about 0.3mm i have measured with a rule. Again, people saying that contents is distorted or problems for texting, are again exagerating. I've been able to complete whole initial setup with 1 hand on portrait mode and sent my first text with absolutely no problem.

Got the 32GB edge variant yesterday from the shop. Played with it for a few hours and I was not very impressed.
There are a few things I noticed:

+ Great screen, very vivid colours. And great resolution.
                      + Very powerful CPUs
                      + Nice slim design.

                      On the cons side:

                      - Very poor battery life, it could last around 24h with a few hours of usage 3-4h maybe? This is with Power saving mode enabled, and brightness set to auto.
                      - Screen size is small. It is not even a proper 5inch. It should be 5.3 and for the edge model event 5.5.
                      - No SD card, why Samsung?
                      - Very expensive.

After playing with it I decided this is not my phone so I have returned it today. And I will continue using my Xperia Z2 until Z3+ is out.

To whoever is getting the edge variant, I would recommend checking the normal S6 instead. The only reason someone would get the edge over the normal S6 would be only to brag about the price. No positive value whatsoever.

I really love the phone, its feels great and it can do so much more . . . but all that is dampened by the fact that they have no radio. I need to be connected to the radio anytime, with or without internet connection. Samsung should give the FM Radio application some very serious thought.

Why is edge skidded within released month to 8th position, ad S6 vanilla on Top Slot. Think seriously that sharp edges destroyed, it's handling. Rest no difference n specs. Come out buddies what's about. I already using on first day first show. Only 1 $ transparent back cover has served the purpose. Rest got temperature as resale has been badly effected. Even availability is short. Deal ma Kuala hai.
