I've dropped my smartphones many times. S4 and that particular drop was the only time when i broke a screen. And i was abroad for 15 more days, not even home to be able to use one of my spare phones...
Samsung exposed quite a few covers to protect S6. If you look at them and at S6, you will see that it needs a particular angle while falling to get hit.
And also, i read elsewhere that it's not glass but some kind of plastic on S6 Edge. I'm waiting for the reviews to know all details about it.

If you can't see the dif... moreu r absolutely ryt lol i can't believe that thare r ppl saying that this edge sided phone looks like iphone6!! lol i didn't know that iphone hav an edge sides phone. they only made a flexible curved phones ow i ment bending iphones lol & it's really getting old guys every time a galaxy shows up u say "ow it's just a copy of iphone " but that's not true . & even if it is a copy i think it's a correction for the original or maybe they should be a little similar For more of a challenge cuz it's obviously who's the winner lol :)don't replay haters just get out from here

Yep i have droped several times my old smart phone on its edges but none of these drops manage to crack or damage the screen in any way...maybe i just got lucky...

As for an accidental drop, i dropped 2 years ago my S4 on the side. Guess what? Screen broke. Aren't you concerned with that same durability of any smartphone ?

Well am i the only one here which finds this screen design little but ugly and not attractive at all...The phone just looks to me like some kind of a bottle or a glass for water. I have also a very big concern about the durability of the phone if it happens to fall on its curved edge...Not to mention that you may occasionaly touch the screen with your fingers on the edge when holding the device causing the screen to react when you do not want to...

this is a very good phone, people need to stop saying it looks like the iphone 6 only the edges do. samsung have done one thing right, they listened to their customers and brought what they want. excelent job.. now when can i get one?? im in Kenya:/

1) You don't have a degree in industrial design
2) You should seriously consider an appointment with your local optician.... ;-)
