Perhaps for me marshmallow just has a slightly nicer look about it - colours etc. Must confess I have now forgotten what lollipop was like. I just know that I quite liked the marshmallow screen but I do also feel that it is marginally quicker with better battery utilisation.

Of course - month 13 of ownership and suddenly there are 4 vertical colored lines on my screen. I've tried the reset(s), the native display color testing and a few other tricks posted on line but nothing will remove them. There are simply no options evidently, and Samsung won't make it right. Heading back to iPhone after having paid 750 Euros for Samsung's latest scam...

scorpio, 23 Aug 2016Sorry but you are missing out on the best. The marshmallow ... moreI think it's a placebo effect Scorpio. After resetting my phone, i can say same about my S6 Edge under Lollipop. Fingerprint unlocking works faster than ever, almost no delay when entering phone app or messages etc.. Resetting a phone helps restoring something we are forgetting with time : original smoothness.
I don't miss any feature of Marshmallow because i talked with some buddies of mine when it got released, we compared features and there was nothing which could attract me. Reading many forums and comments about the troubles possible didn't help either.
I also have updated my S5 to Marshmallow, there's hardly a difference with it under lollipop so this nailed the subject for me.
And beyond that, i had made a topic on issues to solve for S6 Edge on sammobile which seemed to be one of the closest from Samsung.. But i guess, it's barely a one-way site.

Most of the bugs listed are still present on Marshmallow (i haven't updated that list for a while since it's useless).

Iv had this phone now for 8 months, it is one of the best phones iv ever had no lag runs smoothly. only now the battery doesnt last me the whole day have to charge it by 4pm but the fast charge works realy well

S6 edge fully touch phone if loaded with assistive touch...dnt hve to press any hard button..even don't have to find remote for tv, pc . Laptop, wi fi , home theatre, dvd, blue ray player etc. ....thnk God didn't waste money on iPhone 6s which i thought best.

m86k, 21 Aug 2016I didn't find any other way to remove that update notificat... moreSorry but you are missing out on the best. The marshmallow update is just great. My s6 has never worked better and the battery life seems to last longer. I think the update has made the phone work more efficiently.
