I don't know why people complain about the battery or it glitching i have the galaxy s6 edge and it works perfect and if you download the programs Clean master and ETC... there programs actually make your phone slower and makes it over heat and makes it cause problems and those apps that help you save battery are just a bunch of lies and makes your phone cause glitches don't blame the phone when it could be you causing the issues on the phone

jek, 07 Oct 2015still better than iphone when it comes to battery performan... moresignal strength on this phone is very very bad.... I usually have only one bar in 4G and even outside I never had more than 3 bars. Never had 4 full bars... This eats battery, always searching for signal...
The software could be optimised better to save battery too. My Motorola would discharge 1% overnight while S6 Edge discharges from 8% to 16%.

Have had the phone about 2 weeks now, it's lovely... feels really slick in the hand, looks great, performs great. The battery life is not the best, but it's not the worst either, I get 24 hours with moderate usage, so I charge it at night or in the morning when I wake up. The charger that comes with it is really fast, takes just over an hour to charge to 100% - so really the battery life not lasting longer than a day is not an issue if you can find a quick charger somewhere and give it some life - i think it is something like 15-20 mins to get 50% charged.
It also has wireless charging, and the wireless charging pads are cheap - I've bought one for work at my desk so the phone will stay charged when working.
The camera is really good, pictures are very clear and bright. All in all i'd recommend this phone. The edge screen, while attractive to look at and makes the phone stand out, it's pretty gimmicky, the features it has are pretty insignifficant. Maybe more apps will utilise it better, but as of now it's pointless -- i'd still recommend this over the normal S6 though since it really makes the phone stand out, whereas the S6 looks very 'samey' for past Galaxy S models, and Iphones.

I'm just so upset about it bcz i didn't expect such thing from samsung flagship. Previously I had been using sony xperia for many years n i was satisfied with battery performance. S6 edge discharges it's battery even when it's been on sleep mode with power saving on. This phone significantly discharges continuously in sleep mode at a rate higher than other same aged phone of same or different brand such as galaxy note 3, xperia z3 or lumia phones.

Using s6 edge for 2 weeks battery has to charge every afternoon even with low brightness 3G wifi off usage...network signal seems weaker than my iphone 6.it charge very fast but does not seems to hold long enough.any advice?anyone have signal strength issue.most time the bar shows 2/3.

Just control the brightness level and the battery backup is more than satisfactory Absolutely recommendable

Best phone ever....until S7 comes next year. Love my white 64 GB S6 edge, no problem whatsoever, work flawlessly.

I've had my galaxy s6 edge for less than 5 months and already had to replace it twice. I am very disappointed in samsungs sevice and support. I love the edge when it works. Two days after i bought the edge in may i had to replace the whole phone because the touch screen stopped working. Best buy replaced it and it was fine until about a week ago. It started reading no sim card. I took it to best buy, samsung and sprint to fix it. It couldn't be fixed in store, so i had to send it to samsung. Samsung is stating they can't do anything because it has water damage and that is not covered under warranty. This phone has never had any contact with water, samsung has no explaination why it may say it has water damage and is unwilling to help or do anything. Samsung is sending me back my phone to repair myself. We have been long time samsung supporters and had samsung products for many years. If this is how their latest and greatest products work and the support you get it's not worth it. As much as we don't care for apple products, it may be time to switch. Nothing like getting the run around for over a month wirh no explainations. I just want a working phone.

Battery last only 1 day if i use the phone a lot, with wifif and screen very bright. But standby time is amazing one week if i just let the phone idle !

Look Timmy iPhone since inception had no slot till today, with always topping charts and only one or two models per year sells millions. Nobody objected nor bycoted it. It's still selling fr 700$ 6s 16gb most horrible combination, still a hot cake and prestigious set to keep. Slot or no sloth it's Fate to define.
