Arn, 22 Sep 2015Bought S6 Edge on 9th June, disappointed, nothing but probl... moreYou're story is almost exactly what I'm going through. It's been less than three months and now my second device is shot out. I've got to get a third it looks like. I treat the damn thing like a baby, too. I've got no home launcher to use (stock or third party). They simply stop working. I never had a problem with any other Android, including my S4. I'm so let down about this. What a waste of money! Oh, and a nightmare having to keep going through this. Good luck to you.

Oh, that's a shame! I got my S6 Edge three days ago and I've got to admit, it performs better than my One M9, which I got rid of because the vibration function stopped working within a few months of me getting it as well as not turning on for half hour (it freaked the hell out of me that I had to change in fear of losing all my stuff).

My second choice next to the S6 was Meizu Mx4 Pro but you might wanna hold out until the 5 Pro comes out. The specs of that phone are insane and no it's not an iPhone clone. They've been using that design years before Apple. Looking at it now, I kinda wished I waited to get Meizu instead of my S6 Edge.

Good luck. Lemme know what you went with in the end.

Bought S6 Edge on 9th June, disappointed, nothing but problems from day 1.
Got 2nd S6 Edge beginning July, again nothing but problems! Phone does not perform, keeps on losing signal.
Got 3rd replacement S6 Edge, again problems, looses signal, does not ring when incoming phonecall. Long delays in sending messages, does not register login on Banking site, only approx. 10 hrs later.
Never had these problems with my S4!
Am not sure with what to replace with? Would love the S6Edge plus, however I have lost faith in Samsung's new S6 range.
Perhaps an S5 or even Note 4 is the way to go, as I haven't heard of complaints regarding these phone.
                            Any suggestions?

I've got to admit that after a couple of days use of the S6, coming from a HTC fan with a One M9, it's not as bad as I thought it would be. Touchwiz has toned down a lot and it's not a problem at all in my opinion especially now that you can disable much of the bloatware. There are a few things which annoy me -

                                      1. I dislike the keyboard a lot. I've had to download Google Keyboard which is just alright. The HTC Sense keyboard is much friendlier and easier to use.
                                      2. I dislike that you can't swipe on some applications - you're relegated to pressing buttons whereas in HTC Sense, you could physically swipe (e.g. on the World Clock widget). I've also found that although you can swipe in the "contacts/phonebook" menu, sometimes it freezes where you'd have to push the options before the swipe works again.
                                      3. I really hate Flipboard. It's a much lesser version of Blinkfeed

I've yet to test the battery life - as I've only just transferred my number but I'll report back. At this stage though, if the battery holds up, I'm keeping this phone. I've been pleased so far.
                                      3.

I don't regret the memory cards, they were very unreliable and got corrupted. No problem anymore with my 64 GB super fast memory. But as with all my other phones i still make back up on memory sticks, you never know what could happen to your phone.
