The S8 and S7 share essentially the same interface except for the launcher, widgets and icons.

Does anyone know when Samsung will release Samsung Experience 8.1 (the one on the S8 and S8+) for Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge? I'm aware that you can unofficially download the launcher, but will Samsung actually release the update?

Anonymous, 24 Jun 2017Hello Guys Pls Help Me I m confused between S7 and S7 Edge.... moreIf you like bigger screen go for the edge as everything is identical on the regular S7 apart from the battery life which is bigger on the big brother but S7 isn't far behind in this aspect, it also has tremendous battery life. I've used the S6 edge+ in the past and it was one of the best looking phones I've ever had, now that my quest for using an edge screen is over I'm back with flat screen and for me S7 is true value for money (cheaper too compared to the edge). Rest is up to you after all it's your choice and money: -)

OK, so I upgraded to Nougat now I have a little issue with the display resolution should it be FHD or WQHD? Which one is better to save battery? and the power saving mode has changed also even though you can personalize it I don't know which settings to choose to save battery or this doesn't affect the Battery at all? Please help!

Don't count on it being water resistant and don't plan on them standing by their word if you do find yours did get moisture in it.

Finally, after all the waiting today I got the Nougat update!! Let's see how much the battery lasts with my normal use, with Marshmallow I could go up to 2 days without charging let's see now with Nougat.

Till some better ground breaking technology comes, S7 & S6 camera still the best to capture lots of details in any pic. Even the front cam too.
