AnonD-481725, 18 Feb 2017No no no, these are fake reputations made by Samsung itself.Actually his comments about Sony are true. And those serious Sony flaws do exist. Several friends of mine have bought Sony phones, but sold them within a few months due to those nasty faults.
They all now have Galaxys or iphones. In fact, in my country, its only these 2 brands that are popular. Reselling other brands is difficult. Although there are some HTC phones that seem good.

Sold my Sony X Performance as it was too buggy, mainly the terrible battery life. Back to Samsung again for me. Love the Amoled screen, so much better than LCD screens and having so many screen adjustments to suit anyone's eyes. Plus I wanted more volume and the S7 has given me this. If fact everything is great on the S7. I recommend it to anyone thats thinking of a new flagship phone. Had my old Samsung S6 for 1.5 years and it never let me down.
S7 has the best screen, best battery life and performance and is mind blowing. Loads over a 1,000 photos off my 128gb memory card is seconds !

There are reasons why Sony is outside the top 10 in smart phones and the public knows it and chooses other brands. Sony phones are really only for Sony fanboys.

The S7 is a beast of a phone.The S7 has proven to be the worlds number 1 smartphone. Your boring, bland Sony XZ has numerous well documented problems that are not even worthy of dissussion here.

Sony is NOT even in the top 10 popular smartphones and NOT in top 10 sales of smart phones. The public is aware of its failures over the past 3/4 years. Sony has known overheating problems for 3/4 years which causes Sony Xpoorias to shut down and is still happening with the current XZ model. Self cracking screen problems that Sony won't give warranty on, bad battery life, water resistance failures that Sony won't give warranty on, and the list just goes on and on. Sony can't even optimize its own software to work correctly with its own sensors and has thermal overheating problems.

Unlike all Xperi... moreZ2,z3,z3+ agreed, but they weren't the worst with this regard, or even all smartphones were the same even the iPhone 6, since z5 until now sony succeeding by solving this issue, especially the xz where sony completely solved the problem.

I'm here to read about Nougat update and yet I found Sony fans doing exactly the same act like mischa had been doing. At least she stopped after the interference from moderator. I don't have to see her blabbering about her phone anymore on Sony's forum and I hope not to see Sony fans doing the same. It's an eyesore. Not that any of you own the 2 companies.

Anyway comment war continues between Sony and Samsung fans. People it is just personal choice. Nobody can force others to buy phone that they don't want. In my country people are buying Samsung or iPhone. I like Sony more and bought Z3 two years ago. Just simple.

AnonD-481725, 18 Feb 2017Nah, Sony solved overheating issues from centuries by a sma... moreAbsolutely Wrong. Samsung has been using heat pipes in its laptops for 6/7 years and used its heat pipes knowledge and experience in their smartphones. Some Samsung Ultrabook laptops had dual heat pipes.
Samsung's own CPU, the Exynos doesn't need heat pipes, but Qualcomm Snapdragon Cpu's need heat pipes. Snapdragon have had heating problems since the SD810
Samsung avoided using the SD810 in the S6 for this reason and so by using its own Exynos chip didn't need any heat pipes. Sony used the SD810 and needed heat pipes to overcome these heating problems. But, Sony already had other thermal heating problems in its design which only increased this heat to levels causing shut downs and/or permanent damage. Other brands that used SD810, usually throttled down the CPU.

You don't own either phone, so how would you know anything ? Sony has overheating problems for 3/4 years, self cracking screen problems, bad battery life, water resistance failures and the list just goes on and on. Why do you think that Sony is not in top 10 popular smatphones or top 10 in sales now? Becausei is quality is terrible in everything. S7 has no overheating problems, nor has any Samsung phone.

Xperias are no threat to the all dominant, all conquering Galaxy S7. Everything is better on the S7....best screen, best performance, best battery life, best camera. Sony can't even optiminze its own software to work correctly with its own sensors and has thermal overheating problems.
