Got this earlier today only just got it off neighbour it was delivered to them.This is such a lovely feeling device and I have not switched it on yet. I am not using a case I never do because u buy phone that looks goods so why cover it up. What should happen is these things should be robust in first place (like Nokia's are) as they are used outdoors.
Got myself a 128gb Samsung card to go with it(left other card in old device) ,it is the one on offer at Mobymemory for 32GBP,I stopped using Sandisk years ago they kept corrupting.. It will take most of today to set up but that is part of fun.It is on charge now till it is full then I will leave it 8 hrs before doing my usual discharge/charge cycle about 8 times.

Actually im writing this from S7, i used to like this phone, i may like it still but i have fucking problems mate. Its killing me. I have used iphone 5 and zenfone 2 before this. Actually iphone 5 was the best for my user experience im not comparing the specs. Zenfone 2 was the worst mistake of my life. Then i saw s7 one day. And i really liked it. This time i felt like samsung made it. I used it so good without any problems for like 3 months. Then Sdcard problems starded. Then phone started lag on lock screen at least for 10 mins. Mostly i had to hard reset. Then i went to Samsung service and they told me to reset it. So i did. But in 2 weeks the problem starded again. We can say that this is kinda standable problem. I did stand till the time the seal between screen and the glass came off. I went the service you know what they said? Its out of warranty. Then i said okay i dont give a shit. Just fix the software, here comes their biggest crap. Because you have a physical problem, we can not fix it till we repair the screen but you will have to pay for the screen. I said okay lets see how much. And they fuckn said 300 euro. Come on its fucking 500 euro on amazon. Since then i am waiting my phone to explode then i give it to the press. But yeah again 2 of my friends have it. They have no problems. Nothing. They love their phones. Guess i was the unlucky one.

Price well paid for. Very smooth operation!
Camera is the best so far.
Being dust and waterproof makes me enjoy this phone much better!

Worst phone I've ever owned. I've sent it back twice now, because it keeps freezing and going through restart cycles. And because you can't remove the battery, you can't end the restart cycle until the phone dies of all power. Then when you do get it started it will freeze and the restart never-ending cycle will continue again. Three phone "repairs" later and still doesn't work. I've had it for three months, and the battery is worse than the 4 year old no name loaner phone I got from my service provider. Oh how badly I wish I had my stable, reliable blackberry. This phone is all hype ZERO muscle. For $500 I am so disappointed. What a joke.

My camera glass smashed somehow. I Still have no idea how it happened. I've never mishandled or dropped it. Galaxy S7.

Personally, I wouldn't buy Samsung ever again. In the 20 years I have used cell phones, Galaxy S3 was the only phone I threw against wall. They are over-priced, bloatwared and borderline ugly (OK, that depends on personal preferences).
Sony I had always some kind of problems with, though I haven't had one quite a long time.
Apple is OK, but way too expensive for my liking.

I have owned a galaxy s7, google pixel and iphone 7 plus which i currently own. Out of all of these phones the s7 is the top number one phone of the year!

Factory defect might be, coz I had this unit since 4mos past. Everything's going fine 4 my unit. No issue... maybe u need to visit samsung store for help, especially f its still under warranty

Been using this since March '16. Preordered it and it was bundled with the Gear VR. Nice phone, but the blue earpiece already had a like a millimeter of paint chipped off. It's hardly noticeable so no big deal. Also, the transparent plastic cover of the flash and heart rate monitor seems to be easily scratched. I had to use some toothpaste and tissue paper to remove those scratches.
I suggest you buy one of those spigen slim or rugged armor cases to protect your phone. Get their steinheil curved screen protectors too. Get a high-speed and capacity SD card and you got one hell of a phone.
Camera is one of the best. I had to shelf my Canon DSLR for this one if I'm going on a tour somewhere. Focus is really fast.
Battery life is so-so. Just remember to get one of those 15,000 mAh powerbanks if you're going on a long trip without any outlets available. Battery lasts at around 8 hours with the wifi/mobile data on and frequent music playing and camera use.
I had a Samsung S4 and an iPhone 5s before I had this one. Games are super fast. It also really heats up when you use fast charging and cover it with a pillow, so I suggest turning off fast charging if you're gonna leave it overnight plugged in.
It'll also head up considerably when you use your VR headset. By the way, this is not the Note 7. People would often stereotype this phone as the one that explodes.
Waterproofness is an added bonus. Just becareful not to charge it after giving it a dip. Also, the speakers will be unusable for quite a while until it completely dries off.
Overall, it's a nice phone by itself. It ain't rugged until you dress it up.
