I think this phone is a piece of junk.Why they made a phone that its sole purpose is to run everything and use up your battery in hours!!! This phone is acomplete rip off to the consumer. On all the time screen..system that lets apps run aimlessly after not being used for more than 3 days!!! GARBAGE!!!

Amanda , 18 Sep 2016I don't like the edge version... sincerely, I think that is... morei would recommend regular s7. as some people complain about the display problems in edge variant as sudden lines appear on the screen. and also u can get a good screen protector for the device which may be harder in s7 edge . and I think a 5.1 inch screen is better than a bigger one which is 5.5 in s7 edge

Anonymous, 18 Sep 2016From this bunch, you can let alone the Z5, P9 and honor 8 b... moreHey mate I'm agree on most part of your saying.the only thing I not agree is that the s7 doesn't worth it's price.I think Samsung has done a good job,yes OK its very expensive but at least its a good phone and better than s6 which didn't have enough battery nor a speedy ui.I have the mi5 which is great and the battery life is amazing ,sometimes gets over the 6 hours of sot.but the fastest phone of this year is the op3. So the same thing ever is,almost all newer phones do their job very good,so nobody can tell you which phone is best for u,depend on your needs...you need the fastest? Go nexus p,op3.you need battery? Zuk z1/2, mi5,honor 8,but sadly we can't eaaily compare the phones without an specific request....:-((

Z5 is a large phone. Im a z5, t2 and X user all are great phones. Xperia z3 plus heats a lot but it doesn't exploded. Samsung is lying its a battery fault. Galaxy are not durable and worthy devices. Better go for Xperia s and iPhone.

I don't know much about the ZUK Z2 but if it's more expensive than OnePlus 3 and Xiaomi Mi5, then don't buy it because Lenovo is a very cheap brand and that means they have to save money on things like software updates or support.
Now it depends on whether you have a problem with using a chinese phone or not. If not, you can exclude the S7 because it has just a better camera but rest is about the same for higher price.
Next thing is OnePlus 3 or Mi5 or 5S. They cost about the same and are about the same. Mi5 has worse build quality and but a smaller body and you said that you want a smaller phone (of course you could go full compact with an iPhone SE or Xperia X Compact). For the most things they are the same, even the camera seems to be the same sensor. I wouldn't weigh the extra RAM of OP 3 too much because that isn't that big of a difference. And the last difference is the back which is metal on the OP 3 or Glass on the Mi5 so there your personal preference is important. If you use a custom ROM or launcher, software isn't an issue, but if not, I think OnePlus 3 is better because it also has an international firmware while the Mi5 is specially made for China so there will be some apps missing or wrong translations or a UI that is similar to iOS.
If you wait for the Mi5S and if it has the same price as these, there is no competition and it will be better.
If you want a long software support or don't like these above, you can wait for the new Google devices.
Because of the fact these phones you said all having android, I think you don't want an iPhone.

S7, 1+ 3, iphone 7 or Xperia XZ .... plz... morewell, once plus 3 is the cheapest, but doesn't skimp on performance. it even beats the S7 on benchmarks. however, you won't really notice it in real life situation. i believe after sales support could be the downside as well as accessories.
i have the s7 so i can say it's good. just make sure to have a protective case or else that premium look will be premium no more if you drop it unprotected.
what i can only say about the experia xz is i don't like the UI of xperias...peace!!! by the way, accessories are hard to fine as well.
as for the iphone 7, i like the ip67 rating but the omission of the headphone jack is a bit of a deal breaker. i also don't like the fact that transferring files to and from the phone requires itunes and bluetooth doesn't work with other flatforms. but, it's nothing major. probably the major disadvantage for is the lack of the app switcher and back button which i am used to on an android, and of course, the price.
