i have s7, using pattern or fingerprint to open screen but after a month use it suddenly asking for a password instead of fingerprint recognition while i haven't created any password for that purpose.... HELP please.

In most cases when a phone is dropped the battery and the back of the phone go flying which usually leads to more damage. Besides the fact you can still have the phone taken to get a replacement battery put in, the phones battery is long lasting and shouldn't have to be taken out or changed. Iphone has never had a removable battery and most likely will never have one and sheople still continue to buy them.

After taking my beloved S7 on vacation and dropping it less than 3 feet into 1 inch of water the ear speaker failed completely. I called Verizon for a replacement since it was less than 60 days old. Water damage is not covered on water resistant phones even if they have the IP68 rating. So basically a phone that is advertised in a commercial promoting it being dunked in water does not cover it if there is water damage. They will allow you to send it in for repair. Now I have to be without my new $800 S7 for up to 9 days so that it can be repaired. Like most people, I use my phone for business and it is my only business phone.
I was a loyal Samsung customer having an s3, galaxy note tablet, galaxy s2 tablet and now the s7 but after this I will not choose Samsung ever again. I love the phone but this was just the completely wrong way to handle this issue. I am glad to get it repaired. Buyers should beware.

Does anyone having the problem of the device just hang on the screen and anything cannot be done until we force restart the device? i have sent to samsung service centre yet the issues seem to goes on. At first it was few lines showing up then it hang, after replacing the LCD, the first issue seem to be gone but still hang .
