S7, is maybe high-end specs, but visually it's a old S3 or J7 n shape. Edge has diffinately an edge in innovation. It's 100 bucks cheaper and ppi little better, but it's n presented value!

S820 is to be blamed, just N3 we used to pay more for European 805, now it's reverse. Never ever buy Qualcomm chipset, Samsung's are best Exynos!
S7 820's are charging, using, playing, and idling. Hot hotter hottest!

I thought the S7 has a LED Flash at the front camera like J5/J7 but it's run away :( I wish Galaxy Note6 has a front cam w/LED Flash soon :'(

S7 overheats most of the time....I bought this to compare it with my mate 8.....well, mate 8 seems okay than this....S7 has more issues than mate 8

poor strategy in creating/publishing a smartphone....
how many did samsung created to compete with other brands?or how many phones did samsung created to reach apple?how many phones did apple created compare to samsung...how does samsung will compete by the use of its own os. Samsung must compete with its own os to know the real best phone.

I will openly say it, the Galaxy S5 is the best Galaxy S to date. I agree with everything you said. Trust me, you and I aren't the only ones who think the S5 is the best, many others share the same view and it's a practical view. The S5 is the most innovative Galaxy S so far. To all who purchased the S7 and like it kudos to you but I will stick to my S5.

Its that time of the year when samsung take another shot at making a flagship smartphone.
Its nas views here with the review and opinion on the galaxy s7.
The galaxy line has always had its ups and downs each phone giving and taking aspects and features, trying to create something different from the rest.
The galaxy s7 in some ways is better then the s6 but is this upgrade really worth it? 4gb ram crazy fast chipset but a lower spec camera?
4gb ram sounds like your running a low spec laptop but in the smartphone world thats a whole lot of multitasking giving the user freedom to run as many apps as he wants without having to lose device performance, combined with the super fast chipset the galaxy s7 is a very capable phone. Is it necesary? No its not, most people will check their facebook write a few tweets watch some youtube videos maybe play a game in their spare time and even take some photos here and there thats about all really when it comes to usage so there isnt any need for 4gb of ram or the fastest chipset on the market.
The return of the sd card however is a great step forward as the galaxy s6 had a big sale loss due to the limited storage.
The water and dust resistance i guess is a big bonus considering samsung last had this feature on the galaxy s5 which till today i believe is the best galaxy on the market.
The camera on the other hand has been downgraded to 12mp with the promise that it is much better in low light due to its pixels being bigger therefore capturing more light... but at what price losing detail in your images especially for someone who wants to print their photos and have them put up on the wall this could be an issue. So is the camera an upgrade? Yes and no. Better night shots but less detail in the day. Samsung i think if you want to create the perfect camera you should opt for a bigger sensor with a leica lens and keep the pixels where they where.
Over all the galaxy s7 personally apart from the sd card and the weather resistance i dont think there is much of an upgrade to be seen. Still a fingerprint magnet still slippery still has that buldge hanging out the back for the camera its really quite dissapointing to see the s7 with minimal upgrades
Maybe next year samsung but for now the s5 will still be my daily driver

It does,
Each country has different app releases. Only worry on the updates in your country/region and no one elses. If you update it through APK then it may bug up the phone and you might get different apps that's not suited to your firmware

Check out GSM and other reviews of the s7 camera. Megapixels are not the full story there is far more going on in the new camera.

Seriously, don't know why people think the higher the megapixels, the better the quality. It's NOT. Megapixels just determines how big a picture is.
The S7 has far better quality than the S6, look at all the reviews online and here and it will be better. Geez..

I use the exynos version and there is no LTE/3G mode. I haven't used 2G voice for years. Now, if I want to use LTE, I must take risk of getting 2G voice call, which has terrible quality, because of LTE/3G/2G mode.
Even cheap Xiaomi has LTE/3G mode.

The Samsung Galaxy S7 is great for everything except it's intended use. A phone. Lots of static and background noise. Speaker setting is horrible
