I bought it yesterday but dissapointed that it doesn't have option for LTE/3G mode. It has LTE/3G/2G which I don't like because 2G voice quality is very bad though signal is full.

I found you have to install the Samsung video player from galaxy apps and I recommend it because it loads all the videos faster than using the gallery

I think they should add a 128gb Variant. Like apple 32 and 64gb are good but isnt 128gb is better? Also the Camera. Its only 12mp im expecting 16 or 21mp but i thinks its all good. The battery is only 3k mah. For me a 4k mah or 5400mah is a good one since this is a octacore phone

I was young now I'm old, I've never seen a perfect smartphone in my life. They'll always pros and cons, you people can say whatever comes to your mouth and mind, you all owe your own opinions. Condemn, praise and say whatever, smartphone makers are out there making their money. I need more noise here please.

If you have a Galaxy S7 or S7 Edge do not break it! according to ifixit (teardown),
if the Galaxy S6 and S6 was hard to repair than the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge are the hardest smartphones and nearly impossible to repair (the screen, USB port, microphone, soft button LEDs, ex.).

P8 Lite doesn't have fingerprint sensor, no water resistant, only 2200mAh battery, very low ppi pixel density, only 16GB internal memory, only 2GB RAM, no fast charging, no wireless charging, no VR support.
Go home and keep your Huawei P8 Lite, nobody is interested.

Why do buy this hefty priced phone with same features and specifactions of S6? waste of money. Go for LG G5. Excellent phone with novel features and affordable price than Galaxy S7. The camera of LG seems better than S6.Screen is bigger than S7.The IPS panel does not fadeout after prolonged use and clarity is better than AMOLED.

But in my case, I upgraded from an S1 to the S4 and then the S4 to the S7. Each upgrade had amazingly welcome new features and technology.

Quite thrilled with this new phone!

                                        P, 24 Mar 2016Battery and optimization - a quad-core cpu from 2 years ago... moreTo P:

That's exactly what I'm talking about, the upgrades are basically the same as every other manufacturer upgrade for 2016 CPU, RAM, battery etc.

The Galaxy S has been known for innovations which made it stood far out from the crowd. The S2 was a significant improvement over the first S. The S3 was just as significant over the S2 with things like smart alert, smart stay, pop-up player (have the video in a separate window while performing other tasks) etc. Then the S4 took things to a whole new level with features from the Samsung Smart TV and Galaxy Note 2 (Smart Scroll and Air View respectively) but the cool part about the Air View is that while the S-Pen was needed to do it on the Note 2 a pen wasn't needed to get it done on the S4...Samsung revamped the entire screen just for the Air View to work without a S-Pen...that's innovation.

Then along came the S5 with more innovations most notably the first smartphone to come with a heart rate sensor and the first Galaxy S to have a fingerprint sensor...that's innovation...and it's impressive to know that it is water resistant without it being the bulky active version...that too is innovation. Most impressively the S5 was able to maintain every feature from every previous Galaxy S (except the FM Radio which got cut since the S4). I only used the radio once on my S2 just to test it out so I won't cry about it being gone these days.

The S6 removed essential stuff like the SD slot and Ingress Protection and sealed the battery to top things off. That's not innovation. The S7 brings back the SD slot and Ingress Protection but removes the IR blaster (infaRed) yet everybody jumps for joy. That's not innovation. Removing a feature from one model and bringing it back in another model is NOT innovation.

Samsung has clearly ran out of ideas. I will stick to my S5 octa-core. It has everything including a removable battery which has sadly been gone since the S6. I guess I will have to wait to see what the S8 has to offer. Hopefully it will bring back true innovations to the table and not just offer a camera upgrade only in terms of pixels.
