It's all down to personal preference...just samsung can't cater for everyone that's the problem! There is pros and cons for both sides regarding the removable battery, but samsung are deciding to go with whatever they see fit

Removable battery seems to be a hot button issue. I can understand why they want to remove it, but it will change what device I purchase. I've had a Galaxy S4 for over two years and it is still going strong with crDroid and Android 6.0 with excellent battery life. Hoping to get three years out of the device before being back on the upgrade treadmill again.
For me, having a removable battery allows me to go on longer bike trips (twice a week, @ 80 km) and swap out the battery. Battery cases are clunky and don't fit into the bike mount, and external batteries are one more thing to tie down and worry about falling off down a hill at 60 km/h when you hit that bridge with bumps. It's a big plus to be able to swap it out at the end of a work day and have a completely full battery for the evening, regardless of what you plan on doing.
A lean phone is also nice as well, but not a compromise I can make.

Same crap - better camera. I need my PHONE to make PHONE CALLS. Give me longer talk time battery life and better cell reception and I'll upgrade.

Really, Id like to k... moreThe only reason you need a removable battery is if the phone freezes up often enough to where you MUST take it out to restart it. There is a key combination in these new phones to simulate removal of the battery. I've had an s6 edge+ for a while now, and have not run into a situation where I need to "remove" the battery. Buy a better phone, and you won't have to worry about the issue. Keep the s5, good luck in the future once it becomes obsolete with new Android versions.

Is you taking out your battery really that freakin important? No. It's not. Keep yourself with a lower quality phone then, best of luck once the s5 starts becoming crappy with updated software in the future.

Really, Id like to k... moreCos, it will reduce battery casing , (more space for bigger battery or can make phone thinner), reduce contact points, and in reality more than 80% of users dont change battery. Average use of smart phone is only 1.5 to 2 years and original battery will last for that duration.

Really, Id like to know what the non-corporate benefits are of not having the option. Thats why I have an S5 and wont be changing to another SG any time soon by looks

A smartphone is there to replace everything so you carry 1 device that does everything, and yeah maybe people don't use radios much but it still should be included especially when the Galaxy S7 will have the FM tuner hardware built in just as every previous Galaxy S has but Samsung disabled them in the firmware at the request of the cell networks as they want to make you use Internet radio they can charge data costs for instead of just having a free radio.
Also in some countries mobile internet is still insanely expensive and limited so radio still gets used.

They are so rich that they could just buy a real radio instead. Why depend on smartphone for that? Who buy smartphone just to listen to radio? There are so many nice radio less than $10-20 out there. Have better reception too.

the handy phone need power, clear and simple to used. people very lazy today.i am not work for the phone. I need the phone work for me. give me what i want.
laptop can download movie play through hard disk. mac air 12 inch or mac book is the best for lazy laying one the bed browsing internet.
cell phone can do it all, but only when you need. cell phone is the best for chat online. and listening to music.
32gb still enough music to enjoy.
for expert, please purchase 128gb version. soon the future phone will have 254gb too.
with me, the phone is complete one piece powerful is the best. its the best for sell too
