Don't update your s7 to oreo. After the update, data is too slow. Barely getting download speed of 200 kbs. I double checked with another mobile I am having on same network( It peaks upto 1.5 mbps download speed)

It seems that some of you simply don't know how to update the phone. I had a custom rom on it and then I've done a clean install of Oreo with Odin. Battery life is excellent and everything is perfect with the phone. It's not possible to have the same phone model, the same update and to have problems if some other people don't have all those issues. The only possibility is incorrent update or some application in the background.

Sadly Live broadcasting feature is now unavailable in the default camera app after Oreo. It was there in Nougat.

Any difference between the two which one should I do and my battery is worst after oreo, cell standby is taking almost same as screen (screen 44% cell standby 39%) and camera is also not good both photo and video very disappointed..

So all other apps work fine?

After Oreo update in India there is an icon appearing in notification bar which is somewhat like recycle icon within which internet up and down arrow marks..
After this appeared background data is not working...
Please help

If your App Icon Badges option was already on, scroll down and look through the list of "apps you want to receive notifications from".

After installing oreo update notifications badges are not showing.
Battery timing and speed has been improved
And yes i have done factory reset twice atleast

KDT, 16 Jun 2018 I don't like the new Oreo update that I did on my S7. th... moreTry a hard reset (complete wipe) and clear system cache. This is a must. You are on the very few people complaining, the big majority say it is very good Oreo.
You can revert to Nougat only by flashing your phone with Odin. Search on sammobile for a compatible firmware. You can't go back officially. Or you can wait a future update to resolve the problems.

I don't like the new Oreo update that I did on my S7. the clock on the sleep screen is stupid. I would rather it look like a real digital clock. also the changes with the contacts are very confusing and it took me 2 hours to figure out were me groups contacts were located. Also battery life is not good since I did the update.
Is there anyway I could go back to the last update??????????
