S7 is a killer for this much price my dear.

Bro, though the screen is just 1080p, its a tough competition for many screens out there... Just being AMOLED doesn't mean that the screen is best...
Yeah, I know that if we compare iOS to andriod, andriod ecosystem is far more open than iOS... But that's not the point here, I don't think so S7 will be good to go for 2 more years... However good a phone be, there is a life for it, as the technology advances the phone is going to be stale, now the S9 has variable aperture, a year or two midrangers will be coming with the same technology, under screen fingerprint scanners, then who would care about S7? And I guess 5G is also on its way... Just have a look, the S5 or the note 5, still may have better camera than the a redmi note 4, but are people willing to buy it, NO... S7 is a great phone bro, I agree but there is an age for technology, you need to understand that...

I personall... moreI don't think so samsung is light years ahead from the competition, its a copy game going on between all the companies... For eg, when the google now was announced samsung introduced S voice, then google copied samsung by introducing the dual window multitasking by default on nougat... Every UI has a set of unique features, some useful and some not... I completely get your point when you say that samsung wants the S9 to get a headstart and I think you guessed it right...

Oh and the iPhone 7 does not have fast charging or wireless. And the S7 has faster Wi-Fi speeds and LTE speed. So basically the iPhone 7 is better at nothing except opening Subway Surfers faster.

In my opinion the S7 was the first good Samsung phone as the Galaxy S6 had it's flaws. Mid range phones can't compare with the camera quality. The iPhone 7 camera is only better at taking more realistic photos but the S7 camera is better for everything else especially with night shots. But just because it has a better chip doesn't mean it's a better phone. Lets not forget that it doesn't have a headphone jack. It has waterproof but it's only as good as as 2014's S5. Horrible durability just like all iPhones. Terrible display, not even full 1080p and it's a crappy LCD. Battery is not bad but not as good as the S7. And the worst part, iOS. I really don't like it because it's way too simple and dictated by Apple. It's also very annoying with too much extra security. All you can do is change the wallpaper without jailbreak. But the funny thing is even jailbreak isn't even enough either. A stock non-rooted Android phone can do more than a jailbreaked iPhone. And another point is the price. S7 is worth it's price while the iPhone isn't. Too overpriced.

I personally loved vanilla android but after getting Samsung s7 I must admit Samsung ui has the most useful features ever. Samsung slow the updates just to make their newwe flagship look good. See s9 just launched so if Samsung have released android O in jan/Feb then potential s9 buyers would just stick to s7. Now s7 updates are scheduled to April so s9 can get a headstart

The thing that bothers me are the very slow updates, as of now almost every brand's last generation flagship has received the oreo update but samsung has still not released the same... As the S7 edge's oreo got leaked accidentally means that the update is ready then why samsung wants to slow down their updates... Oneplus went to that extent that their previous flagship had the oreo update and current flagship didn't... They didn't hold back the update, that's why I respect oneplus... Why can't samsung be the oneplus way? Why samsung doesn't listen to their customers the way oneplus does?

AnonD-669468, 14 Mar 2018Just go check Youtube every Tech reviewer have prefered the... moreLol, bro I'm using an S7, maybe I'm spoilt or I do not respect the great camera the S7 has, but the cameras on the iPhones are superior, the 7plus onwards all iPhones have very good cameras, the photos captured on them just look so good with accurate and punchy colours, the software processing is thing which I guess Samsung are improving with each generation, but I still stick with my fact that the S7 is good, but not as good to use for 2-3 years from now...

Don't you see ho... moreYou have no idea bro, even apart from slow motion I don't find s8 or s9, or s9+ is that much valuable to pay an extra amount of $300. I will rather get a s7 for a lesser amount. Let me tell you about portrait mode, install an app named gcamera from Dear, which supports portrait in selfie and back camera both, you will forget about dual camera phones. Give a try, it is so accurate and clear that you can't get even in iPhone 7 plus. Now tell me what is gimmick about using an app for portrait mode, it's just that you don't want to accept the truth that Galaxy s7 is complete value for money.
