Hello, i bought a S7 Edge with a cracked screen for a good price. The only crack is hair sized and it goes along the width of the phone, edge to edge. Touchscreen works fine, colours ar fine, phone works as normal.
Do you think i could have any future problems with the display? I mean if it could damage by itself , i will take care of the phone and use a screen protector.

My device is duos and I'm using both sim without problem. I use always on display with colered calendar. Only 1% of battery drop per 1hour in standby. No display pink line nothing. Already 8 month.

Firstly I got display problem after 6 months of usage, under warranty replaced, from then on water resistant issues 3 times which again made 3 more times display replacement and battery replacements, 1 time processor replacement. Warranty charges were Rs.58,000/- in total.... where the phone cost is Rs.50,000/- Be bold fight for justice.

Has Anyone experienced the following.. When I make a phone call on network (no messenger or similars..) the volume is too high ( I have to keep my phone 2cm away my ear) and I am unable to decrease the volume below a limit ( about 0,5cm still left on the volume bar).. I use Nougat, this was installed originally on the phone, so I have no experience with Marshmallow..

Who ever got the screen problem especially the green,pink,grey or any line colour,just go change your screen at any samsung service cntre or who still got the warranty,just use it.bcause the fault is start from the samsung factory.this is what my friends said that working at samsung service cntre.make sure u all just go at any samsung service cntre that u TRUSTED.samsung already know this issue.just change the screen.

Typing this on the s7 edge.Stop using a while back and am using iphone 6s plus so i fired it up and is still a pleaseure to use..I loved the phone until the problems appeared.Said it was overheating after 20 mins on VR,then screen cracked and had the pink and blue lightsaber running down the right side.Samsung didnt want to know.My iphone 8 plus arrives any day but i am seriously thinking of changing for the s8 plus or note 8.The s7 edge experience has always held me bacj from another Samsung.Then the note fires.To me they are now junk phones.No wonder people stick with iphones-
.Supposedly the screen fault was for the first batch of edges.So what.Samdung quality control.Can they really be trusted.Probably not.Just my experience.

I thought Android phones used Java in them. Isn't Android Java? In the specs it says this phone does not have Java. Then what does it have? I wanted to start making Android apps with this book. What gives?

S8 doesn't.Had the same problem...but after that my screen broked...so i got new screen and display...after that the pink line problem never reappeared. So maybe its some display issue..s7 edge screen is really sensetive...even a little fall will cost u big.

This is the best phone. I have used this 6months.
I have a problem on the screen and that is a pink line. Sometimes it can hang and restart automatically and not open.
Even, USB charger can work but I can't connect to the PC as a USB mount storage. That's why I can't downgrade Android 7 to 6.
I have tried to replace the mainboard to another good device, same issue. No USB work.
Is there any solution?
