Hi Everyone, i need recommendations for battery replacement. i replaced but the battery lasts only 3 hrs maximum.

I've been using this phone for 4 years now. Really amazing performance, great battery life (mine is exynos model) , good camera (compared to phones from 2016) and nothing to complain about. I'm even writing this comment from it now.
The only issue I had( after one and half year of usage) was weird pink line shows on the display (common problem. google it to see what it's like). Fortunately the phone was still under warranty I went to them. They took it and in a couple of weeks I had my phone back as if it was brand new.
They even replaced the battery. Really if it wasn't for the S/N and mac address. I would've thought they gave me a new replacement phone.
After staying on stock rom for 4 years. Recently I installed FloydQ v 2.0 and everything is great. I don't feel like I need to upgrade to a new smartphone.

They should be able to attempt installing an older version of android onto your phone. Be aware that this will also delete all data on your phone, so if you want to save any of it, you need to tell them that. Otherwise they'll just reinstall it and there would be no way of getting it back (the data that is). The most likely culprit is a software malfunction that has occurred during an update. They happen sometimes, although rarely. The least likely culprit is the phone just giving up.
It is after all a computer and a constant blue screen booting sounds like a BSOD which stands for Blue Screen Of Death, meaning the computer just constantly restarts after showing a blue screen. Only way to stop that is to open the BIOS (Basic Input Output System) before the blue screen appears, which is an easy feat to do on a computer, but not so easy to do on a phone, hence why you need an IT repair shop to do it, as they have the software tools to get access to the phones BIOS (if they don't, they're pretty bad as most modern IT shops today have the physical and virtual tools to repair phones and tablets too)

Just today after using my s7 edge for nearly 2 and half years - it went for an blue screen "Downloading Do not turn of target" and doesn't restart nor does work with any keys up or down. Confused & worried.

Recently my S7 Edge got frozen while opening an app and the black S7 Edge starting screen appeared. It hung there without switching off or restarting. Tried for hard/soft reset but nothing worked.
Took it to the repair shop. They are trying to reinstall the software but while doing that it gets heated quickly. What might be the issue? I need my phone back in normal working condition. Feeling very sad. Facing issue for the first time.

Wayne , 19 May 2020Best phone ever. 4 years and I'm still using with no repairs. Hi I have an issue with my galaxy s7 edge. The screen sometimes decides to change to a panoramic view on the screen . Really annoying. Any ideas on how to fix it ? Cheers. Philip McLean

It's a very unreliable phone . Atleast in South East Asia models. S3 was my first phone still works after 6+ years. Then replaced it with a note 4 . Which got a motherboard issue one week after . Replaced that to a s7 edge . Screen blacked out just before warrenty. Apparently the service center informed that even main board has a leak and it needed replacement. My friends s7 edge broke after warrenty it got a motherboard malfunction. Later got a galaxy s9 4 months later half of the screen blacked out in a brand new flagship. What the fuck Samsung . We pay a shit load and go for your flagships to use it atleast 3 years minimum without have to be opened up to void water resistance. Eventho I hated apple my bad experience with Samsung will eventually make me switch . Atleast their phones work 5 years with solid software support .

I love this phone it has a very nice camera and it does lag sometimes but still is such a great phone

All the s7 edge users should request to Samsung so they could provide last update 9 pie for this beautiful device. I know Samsung provide only 2 major updates but you guys know that s7 edge deserve 9 pie this is the most beautiful phone in the world. I own s7 edge Gold platinum and its in showroom condition i keep it like a Kohinoor Diamond i would love to pick s7 egde over all latest devices. Best ever phone with gorgeous looks.
