Take care, bad gsm signal, bluetooth issues even with other samsung and majority of the units buil are lacking radio and dual sim capability, they just intentionally lied about the specs

I was hiking in the mountains 6 days ago and while taking a picture with my S7 Edge it dropped out of my hands and fell roughly 30 ft smack into the rapid river below me. I couldn't get down fast enough to find it and was devastate! I store everything in my phone!!
This morning my husband received a call from a local Verizon store with the associate telling him that a lady brought my phone to them after finding it at the bottom of the river!
Unsure of how long my S7 Edge was in the water but there is not a scratch on it and absolutely everything is still functional as it was before.
I was completely shocked!! This phone is unbelievably amazing!
Awesome job Samsung!!!

as i tried to remove the sim tray with sim card , sim tray broke into 2 halves .Now i have access to 2nd sim/sd card but 1st sim card slot is buried deep down with sim card .fortunately i have signal along with acess to 2nd sim/sd card. meanwhile what was samsung thinking..
the sim tray is made of cheap plastic ,i used to have 5 yrs old nexus 4 and its sim tray was made of metal or something like that.
very disappointed with Samsung..

That is why i went to get one last week, after watching the advert for so many weeks.

This S7 Edge can use 4G and 3G together, but many others cannot.
Having too many SIM cards and so far my phones never exceed 32GB so no need any microSD card.
Usually i go for 1 year old model as getting from Telco will have all the bugs and latest updates are updated, just like this is on Android 7 and security updated 1 Feb 2017.
As since 1st stock are usually sold out, and should there be any bugs, Samsung could have it fixed and update to newer stock.
In this way i find this is better as no need to do update myself in case the wrong update or somehow not correctly updated, but Manufacturer update should be much better & safe.
I will be getting S8 for my friend, as due to my budget, unless no issue then S8+
As S8 is on 64GB which could be from now on for all new and high-end phones.

If you use mobile data & calls and your location is having poor signal, this will add burden to the battery may not last, as if you had in the past with other phones.
Then if you play games, it depend on the games as i play 1 games that use 1% of battery per minutes, so unable to last too many hours, whereas other games no issue.
At home while on wifi and signal is no good, then again battery usage more %.
In the end it depend on your usage and settings.
Just play with the settings to measure and take note on the location on the signal.
Too many apps open at the same time will make the battery % to drop faster.
But the good things i noticed about S7 Edge is that it will auto shutdown &or close the apps if not in use for a certain period, maybe a couple of hours or so.
Usually i had to manually terminate the apps not in use, but now the phone do it for me.
In the end, it all depend on your and the way you use the phone and the settings.

Try to point downward in order to let both drop out by themselves.
As sim is no issue, then the sim tray is the issue as the slot-1 is deep inside and position is exact and got stuck between the sim card and phone.
If there is some repair shop check with them as most of them do carry tools as part of their trade.

is it with Ir... moreAs i prefer to get it from Telco shops as usually come with latest updates, as they sold out newly arrived sets fast.
Then new stock (already 1 year old) could have being updated by Samsung before passing to retails & Telco(s).
That is why i prefer new & latest stock after a year so that it would be in good conditions, meaning most bugs are resolved and updated to latest version as in Android 7.
It cost in Singapore $199 with 2 year contract on $62.90 monthly subscription.
As for Iris scanner i do not use this feature and please check the spec above for more detail and info.
This is the only 1 model that dual SIM slots are on standby, as Singapore have no longer 2G network so many dual sim phone unable to be standby for both slots.
The other phone is Sony ZX model which is stated.
In this S7 Edge spec for model G935FD as it is stated in 2G, 3G and 4G.
